When I received two calls two days in a row I answered the second time. Got a prerecorded message that said to press 9 to opt out of calls. I did this and I got "this is not a valid selection" so I pressed the only other option which was 0. I went straight to a voicemail to leave my number, I left it and told them their opt out option didn't work and that I was reporting them and they had best not call me again. They apparently got my number from my CL ad for my car but it states specifically not to call with unsolicited services or offers and my # is on the do not call registry SO... I filed a complaint against them here:

I received a call on their 702-567-8812 number and waited for an agent to find out why they had called me.  While I was waiting I looked up the number and found that they actually existed, which is a nice change.  The company is One Stop Motors of Las Vegas, NV.  Once a woman answered, she told me that it was from a Craigslist ad that I had posted.  I then asked why they still called me (with an automated message!) when my ad already stated "do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers" and that I was on the Do-Not-Call list.  She said they will take me off, but I doubt it, so I filed a complaint anyway.  Now to post this same statement to another site!

Got a call from these  people after listing a vehicle on Craig's list... I specifically stated (in my ad)..."Please no dealers or agents calling".....What part of THAT statement didn't they understand??????

They have multiple numbers,

They miss with your time, you miss with theirs
Have fun, Just give them bogus name, don't use your own name
Maybe you should tell them that you are from IRS or local police just to scare them. lol

Keep getting calls from this number, either no answer from the other party when answering or someone wanting me to sell my car through their site.  

They keep calling early morning, late evening to get me to sell my vehicle thru them.  I don't have a vehicle for sale.  There is not a person on the line, it's just a recording.  If you hold on for a person you never get one so it's just a nuisance that you cant get rid of.  

I don't know who called me from this phone number!

Started receiving multiple calls and text after posting an ad on AutoTrader.com. It appears that the telemarketers and scam artists are targeting online sellers by combing sites like Craigslist and AutoTrader for victims. List of the calls we received below?

Apparently not from auto trader themselves, I'm assuming it's a company that wants to hook you up to sell your car with another party.  They did call my home number at one time and they apparently have people looking for certain cars and will help you sell yours for your price.  I'm sure it's a scam somehow

Got several calls from this number and a few others. Traced it back to a dallas area craigslist posting where a guy posted his number but mixed them up and posted MY phone number instead. He was selling a car. These guys are a***oles.  I called them back repeatedly for about 15 minutes. They do it to John Doe, do it back to them. They are fewer than US.  They were very annoyed. I was MORE annoyed.  I'm tired of people like this.

Oh my gosh, that is EXACTLY what I did! They keep calling and I keep telling them I'm not interested. So today when I called back, he was like I'll put on the no call list, then slammed the phone down. I called him right back, slammed my phone down then did it like 9 more times, the number of times they have called me! Hilarious!

Automated message from this number went to voice mail.  Wanted to help me sell my car but claimed not to be a dealer, just a company that finances car sales.  Car listed on local Craigslist. Needless to say I won't call back.  Thanks to this website for allowing me to identify what the call is really about.

Got that same call this morning and when I tried to call the number back got a recorded message saying the number is "no longer in service"?   Now, it seems, they are making calls from an "out of service" phone.  Not sure how that works?

Got this call - car is posted everywhere BUT autotrader, so I have no idea where it's coming from.

What a waste of time.  I listed my car on Craigslist, got a call from a girl who said she's calling for a friend and is just the translater.  Asked for my address to come and see the car, i didnt give it to her cause it sounded too strange i told her i would text it to her & asked her if the number on my caller id is her mobile, she said yes.  when i texted, it bounced back so i called the number and some creepy guy picked up and immediately asked for my number so he could identify me, i hung up, called back again and again w/out saying anything.  WACHOS start a real business & stop playing with people.  The companys name is "One Stop Motors" in Vegas.

I have not picked up the phone since the second call ... I am not sure how they got our number, but the calls always come about dinner time.  I ignore them, but I am on the National Do Not Call List and should not receive any calls from Telemarketers.  We did not post any of my Dad's vehicles to Craigslist and I do not give out my phone number on that list anyway.

It is a mystery and annoying.  I am reporting the company to the FCC.

Thank you, I have the same issue only they aren't the only idiots calling. I have a number of others who are using  my phone number from Craig's List. I will not list my phone number again.

This company illegally pulled my number from  craigslist posting and when I confronted them they told me it was my fault for using cragislist. The never of these companies. How any one would do business with any company that acts unethically is beyond me.

Started getting calls from this number after listing my car on Craigs List

Am selling a vehicle via Craigslist. This business in Vegas calls wanting to sell the car for me for a fee. Am in Texas and the fee is for listing your car on their site vs. listing it for free on Craigslist. Duh!!!!
