Got home and found a 'message' on our machine. Pressed to listen and - nothing. No sounds, no talking, just nothing.

CALLS TWICE PER DAY.  WHEN i CALLED THEIR NUMBER I WAS ASKED, BY A RECORDING, FOR MY NAME AND TOLD THEY WOULD TRY TO CONNECT ME.  DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID OF EXCESS TELEPHONE CHARGES.

Stop calling me.............

I have had 6 calls a day since Saturday reminding me to vote and to vote for Sharron Angle.  Unless, she is willing to pay for the charges to my cell phone, she better stop this horseshit!

I just got a call from 608-5136. I answered and no sounds. Nothing, no one there. Does anyone know who this is?

Just got a "blank" call from them as well. Nothing there, just silence.

no nothing   tried calling back reverse call and it says it's not valid.

Call from this number went to answering machine, no message. Apparently political solicitation from what others have posted here, so unfortunately it's legal telemarketing.

This number calls me and when I answer..it asks me to state my name for google voice.
Beware...It seems like a telemarketing or political campaign tactic to verify that your phone number is valid and then they bombard you with calls and/or text which can add up cost wise.

Based on postings at another site, this appears to be some political poll or solicitation which, unfortunately, is not restricted by Do Not Call legislation. My first instance of this, but probably not the last, went to my answering machine, but no message of course.
