This is the type of human waste you would be giving your credit card information to - ex-cons, convicted felons, crack addicts and other trailer trash that work in the boiler rooms for these types of frauds.

Actually, by Pressing 2, as suggested by the shill for this fraud, you will ensure your number is placed on a suckers list and called repeatedly in the future - your number will also be sold to other scams as a "sucker" or "mark" - someone gullible enough to respond to this type of scam

Glad I found this site because always curious about callers who don't leave messages.  I have no friends in NV, so won't answer anyway.  Stayed on business and in their rewards program.

Got calls from this number. Did some research and belive that this is Hilton telemarketing. My number has been on the "National Do Not Call Registry" for some time now so I filed a complaint. I encourage others to do the same... register your number and file the complaint.

I tell you, I hope never to stay at a Hilton again.  It's outrageous that if you happen to stay in one of their hotels you have to be pestered relentlessly about it thereafter.  No other hotel chain has done this to me, and I don't like it.  You shouldn't have to ask, nicely or otherwise, not to be hounded by someone you did the favor of giving your business to.

If you have the time let them talk and give the sales pitch, ask tons of questions and make them think that you're interested. After a while just say, "Ya know... I was just messin' with ya. You wasted my time, so I wasted yours".

This number has appeared on my cell phone ID five times during the past two
weeks -- 7pm-8:30pm.  It's a Las Vegas number, and I do not pick up.  No message left.

I called back to be taken off the call list. There is no automtic way to simply key in your # and then hang up. After being on hold for 20 MINUTES I used another line to call Hilton Honors. They removed me from this call list, but if this is the best technology that Hilton has, they have lost me as a customer and if at all possible, I will stay somewhere else. I also dropped out of the Honors program so they will not have my contact info.

I just got a call at home from 702-616-7396.  The person on the other end asked to speak with me by name.  They were told I was not home.  Then they asked for another number for me.  Fortunately, my friend was smart enough not to give them my cell number instead asked for a number that I could call them back on, they said that’s okay they’ll call back later.  My friend then called me at work and told me of this strange call.  I took the number that they said came up on the Caller ID.  I called and pressed option 2.  A nice lady (Angelica) answered.  I said I was calling to have my number removed from their call list.  She said sure and then asked me for my telephone number.  I gave it to her.  Then I asked her to repeat it back to me.  She did, and then provided me with a confirmation number.  Angelica said it could take up to 72 to get through their system. …… Hope it works.

You people are idiots. I booked room @ Hilton Grand Vacation Club in Las Vegas. They are calling so they can set up an appointment to do a time share presentation during your stay. All you have to do is answer the phone and tell them no. Is that hard?

They said it takes up to a month to be removed once you ask to be taken off the list. This may explain the subsequent calls after asking to be removed.

I've been receiving calls from this number for several weeks and had not answered them. After looking up the number here yesterday and reading the info, I answered when they called today. It is indeed Hilton Hotels; I did stay with them recently. When I had a chance to enter the conversation by asking the nice young woman to stop talking, I told her to remove me from their calling list and she thanked me. We'll see if it works.

I have been getting them now for weeks, I answer due to looking for a job, and some offices have corp. main offices in Las Vegas. No one is ever there, so I hang-up. (automated dialing, gotta love it!!) I have been awakened twice, and literally had my fork in my mouth another time. I AM on the DO NOT CALL list....and stayed with Hilton once in the last 2 years....now I am sorry. It WON'T happen again!! I did call to have my number removed, and spoke to a girl named 'Tiara'..hummm, but I am going to follow up with the FCC. I had to do this once before and it was VERY effective. The calls were coming from a home phone worker, 'who didn't have the ability to screen out DO NOT CALL lists. It stopped within 2 weeks, and was MUCH worse. You HAVE to file a complaint-it is what MAKES the system work, and make these operations compliant. Giving a bogus number when you register at a hotel does not always work if the number DOES NOT MATCH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!

They are calling my work number. I have no idea how they got it. Luckily (I suppose) they call in the evening so I am not here when they call. They have called twice this week. If they keep calling, I will try to get taken off their list.

If you want them to stop calling you have to answer and tell them to take you off of their call list. If you asked to be put on their do not call list it will not work. You must tell them to REMOVE YOU from the list.

I received a call from this number and it was Hilton.  They asked how my stay was and I took a small survey.  At the end, they gave me a complimentary stay for two nights at any Hilton affiliated hotel.  So I don't mind calls like this one!

Folks, calm down. They work with or for Hilton, a legit company. Just call the number back during the day, listen to menu, then hit prompt 2 and politely ask to be taken off their call list. They aren't selling nuclear waste. Calm down.
They will remove you, confirm your name is associated with the number so you aren't an indignant ex-wife or something, and then they give you a confirmation number. Takes 3 days to remove you from list.

The msg above from Kate - 19 Aug 2007  is exactly correct.
