Lebanon card locked?????
Call this number7029423298
tmomail@tmomail.net
Obvious scam
| Lebanon, Ohio 2011-06-06 20:54:38 Unknown |
SCAM WARNING!
Received the same text message as "card_holder" at the approximate same time.
"tmomail@tmomail.net // Notification: Lebanon card is temporarily locked. Call at 7029423298"
Sender was identified on my phone as 3599.
Upon calling (to obtain info on sender, not to fall for the scam) I heard a recorded fake female voice say something about a 24/7 something or other and that I would be asked for three proofs of identity. Then, "card number". Nothing happened after I refused to enter data. I called T-Mobile and they said it didn't originate from their system.

SCAM WARNING! (me too)
Received the same text message as "card_holder" at the approximate same time.
"tmomail@tmomail.net // Notification: Lebanon card is temporarily locked. Call at 7029423298"
Sender was identified on my phone as 3621.
Shows from tmobile, but it is NOT.
What a pain, I use a prepaid phone and it is using my minutes to check my text messages. UGGHHH

Got a call from this number, but I never pickup unidentified numbers so... anyways good to know it's a con.

I called the number back and they are a company that assist personnel in contacting real estate information. All I did was ask them to delete my number from their phone list and they did.

I have received at least 5 calls from this number over that last 2 days. I have never answered it since I don't recognize the number. I HAVE recently visited a realty website but I never provide my cell phone number to anyone like that as I use that only for friends and family. I wonder how that got it?!

Yes, i signed up on a link from Facebook while playing Mob Wars - now i pretend that i have a son that has been using my details to play his games!!! It gets rid of them quick but they keep on calling!

Next time they call, answer, tell them that you wish to be removed from their call list. If they give you a problem remind them that FEDERAL LAW mandates they remove you from their call list. Just tell them:
"I don't know how you got my number, but I do NOT wish to be contacted by your company again. Any further calls will be reported to the Federal Trade Commission and each call may result in up to a $3000 fine."
Also be ABSOLUTELY sure to get the name of the person calling (they are required to provide this if you ask, they might not want to, but they are legally obligated).
I've noticed that 90% of the time if you threaten to contact the FTC they are pretty quick about stopping.

This number calls me at all hours, it is ridiculous.
I never went to any real estate website and I just received this cell and number for my birthday.
How do I tell them to leave me alone?

This phone number has been humping my leg.....Big Time!
| leapinellie 2007-10-29 03:15:13 Unknown |
Did the same thing, and did receive two e-mails. One had a 'quote' and the other said no comps in my area. Now I have received 17 calls from this numnber in the past 3 days. We were not home for any of them, but at least they did not clog up our answering machine, just took a bit of time to get them off the call log!

Got a call from the above number. It is registered to www.leadtorealty.com I called them back and asked why I was calling, and they said I was registered to look for real estate or something like that (nevermind that I have never told anybody outside of my family my cell number). I asked them to remove my cell number from their database, and they claimed they couldn't locate my cell number. I asked them not to call anymore, but they keep calling me. If you go to the website, you will find they have a 1-800 number. Dial that number as many times as you can, and rack up their toll free charges!

I went to a 'find out what your house is worth' site and filled out their form. Didn't get a value from them on-line, they said they couldn't find any real estate comps in my area, but when I returned the call I got 'please hold for the next agent'. Annoying, to say the least, since they called on my cell phone and I had to pay for the call.

I was at Reply.com and filled out their forms in order to find real estate in the Irving, TX area. I posted a comment for them not to call me because I don't answer strange numbers. I GUESS THEY DON'T READ NOR LISTEN. Oh Well!

If you received a call from this number, most likely you have "dabbled" in real estate investing at some point. Or visited a website and signed up. I also got a call from them, and appreciate the fact that they didn't leave some long winded message on my phone. The call originates from Nevada.

It's from some company about real estate they assist in buying or selling a home; i think they answered "lead to realty"
