this number has been calling me for collections from umc for money that I owe , that I do not have, and am not working. I told the girl on the phone that if I had the money , I would gladly pay it. the calls keep coming to my cell phone as well as an other auto dial number that leaves auto messages of pay what you owe messages.

These people just called me was very rude demanding to speak with my daughter who is not able to speak I asked who it was they said that they could not tell me, I told her not to call this number again and was informed that they would keep calling.

I  switched over to my home phone and got a women by the name of Lynette but was not told what company she was calling from went back to my cell and got the women that first called me. I was told she did not have time to talk to me that it was 9:45 and she was much to busy for rude people.

Yea got a call today from this company. It's a debt collecting service that purchases old debts that you have or have been deleted off your credit report and still try to collect on them. I've dealt with them before when they tried collecting a old hospital bill for $47 that was over 12 yrs old and then tried to put it on my credit report as if the bill was recent. They try threatening you with lawsuits and other things and some people just pay out but hey if I haven't paid it in 7 yrs I don't know what makes these people think I'm going to pay something after 12 yrs. Good luck on that one!!

This number just called me, no one said a word nothing, then they just hung up.  Really annoying.  If it is indeed a legit business don't you think they would actually speak to you?  Ugh.

That is definitely not a UMC number. It is the number for an outside collection agency that UMC and other creditors contract with to collect debts.

That number is not associated with UMC at all. I've worked there and my mom has worked there. It is most likely an "outside" collection agency.

Those fools, whoever they are, leave me recorded music which I erase.

Well she is epileptic so why fake? Unfortunately she has seizures so often she would not need to fake one to get pain meds. If she was after pain meds your supposition does not track. Why fake a seizure for pain medication when pain medication is not the standard post treatment for an epileptic episode.

I see the only handle you could come up with was even more painfully unoriginal than mine. As you are claiming to represent this company would you care to identify yourself by name? Your claim of faking a seizure for meds is a very telling thing for multiple reasons. Since you can not be sure which claim I was referencing it appears that company policy, at your place of employment, defines all people you harass about medical bills as potential drug addicts who faked it all to get some drugs. I suppose that if instead of working as a productive member of society I had your job squeezing blood from stones in a den of thieves that I would have to have tell myself such sweet lies to be able to look in the mirror after a long day of harassing sick people who cant afford being sick. The claimed fakery was that the doctor's, UMC's or just your expert diagnosis?

If your claims of chicanery are in fact true, or at least the recorded opinions of one of her attending physicians than possibly UMC, your company, and definitely you yourself (as you posted in a public forum) are guilty of violating patient confidentiality and may be held. I hope you posted from work as once I obtain the IP I can realistically threaten hold your employer responsible, which means to distance themselves from your mess up of pretending to post patient intel on the web they will probably "let you go". Since your claimed job is bill collector you do not have far to fall to be like the folk you obviously look down on.

If you lost your job and then lets say some tragedy X, Y, or Z happens to you and you get an ambulance ride to the ER would you be able to pay for the thousands you now owe? How about pay your bill that broke $800 before you even arrived at the hospital and still pay rent? You get paid to harass the poor who had the audacity to be disabled, elderly, sick, born or requiring some form of emergency health care. Do they pay you enough and is your cradle to the grave job security good enough to make sure you never become one of the people you take such sadistic pleasure from harassing.

I hope you get "laid off"  right before rent is due, then hit (and ran) by an Escalade, stay in a comma for 3 weeks and when you wake up you have no job, an eviction notice on your door because no one mentioned your comma to the leasing agency. While the agency is sorry its in the computer already and you have 12 hours to pay your rent nothing they can do they just work there but its not a big deal all you got to due is pay double your late rent in fees and penalties to get your place back, so as you see its not a big deal. And then I hope some body just like you starts calling 6 times a day being either a total jerk or just having the auto-dialer hang up.

I would also reference you and your company to the multiple recent class action lawsuits against Stellar collections. The cell number being called was not given out by myself for the express purpose of bill collection. Using an auto dialer to call cellular phones or using prerecorded messages to leave voice mails on a cellular number are both prohibited by law for the purposes of collecting on a bill. Which the company you work for does. Fortunately for me I live in the state that the collection agency is in so legally dealing with this matter will be far easier.

For those of you in Nevada (Non NV residents sorry not many agencies exist that even could enforce the laws, you have to sue these guys) call the number back after about 15 rings someone picks up. I complained that they keep calling and hang up. The woman said that is their auto dialing system putting me on hold while I get transferred. They will try to get you to identify yourself if you do they of course start with the other illegal practices they do trying to collect. Hopefully I am removed from the illegal auto dialer now, so they have to have a person actually call me. Now that I think about it I have received nothing in writing, which is shady, I think I will call company back and tell them to only contact me by mail in the future. And that I will answer no questions or discuss any matters until I receive an itemized description of the debt.

So tired of having strange people call me insisting I owe them money when they are not very clear on why I owe them money. If this company is collecting on behalf of a different party they need to be able to tell me who they are collecting for and not guess from a list of their biggest clients. And if the company now owns my debt need to be able to tell me where the debt originated.

They keep calling. Never leave a message. Hang up on me when I answer. No answer just a disconnect after a 6-10 rings (didn't start counting until after the first few rings counted to six rings just to make sure some answering computer wasn't going to tell me what this is about. Is this a one of the CA's that works for UMC or other hospitals around Las  Vegas. If so its not my bill and you all can *&$%##@#!!. I got UMC collection agencies calling me every day with their nobody on the other line wait 12 seconds saying Hello?HELLO? HI. until I ether get hung up on by the computer that called me or I hang up or I get a recorded message telling me to call a number. Who are you people a message with no subject matter just an obscure upbeat company name that only serves to obfuscate the business in which the company is dealing. And collection agencies working for UMC back off the calling me to get me to please give a message to XXXXX, UMC got my number from her emergency contacts list, her not paying her bill and not answering when you call does not seem to me like an emergency to me or the type of emergency that necessitates calling the emergency contacts list. My now fiance (this was back in 2010) lacked Health insurance at the time because she could not find a health insurance company willing to sell her insurance and probably could not afford it if she had. She is epileptic and had a brief grand mall seizure and an ambulance was called and she was taken to UMC in spite of her objections because the EMT's did not understand how the cognitive impairment they witnessed 25 min earlier is one of the quickly fading after effects of the seizure  where she made the mistake of telling them the truth about how her treated (yet still uncontrolled) epilepsy made her feel. Which was bleak, hopeless, that trying to get ahead was pointless cause a seizure and a hospital bill puts her way behind again, she said she thought that it might have been best if the "Big One" (referring to a deadly or brain whipping seizure) would just happen since she cant get any medical help. It is bleak when companies wont sell health insurance to a 27 year old woman who doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, no personal history or family history of alcoholism, drug abuse, heart attack, stroke, obesity, depression, poor eyesight, allergies, skin conditions or unexplained reactions to sunlight. Sadly she was Epileptic, not already part of a group insurance, had bad credit and after 2 years on a epilepsy medication which had the common side effects of appetite loss, nausea, and vomiting she was around 10 lbs beneath what most healt ins co. say was her proper weight range. So she could not get health coverage. We then tried arranging appointments with neurologists in the LV area. Not sure if we tried every single one but we could not find one that would accept a payment form other than an insurance company, not even cash up front, for instance agreeing that we would pay cash, check, card, money order at the time of appointment or a non refundable deposit or payment at time of scheduling appointment. We were even told in about 4 places that she wont get to see any neurologist with out insurance. We were told to try county insurance which required her to apply for disability. Disability rejects her because she apparently could make $800 a month doing freelance dog walking in the greater Clark County area. Of course it is not disabilities fault if $800 isnt enough for her anti-seizure medications, and also not their fault if public transit does not service the greater Clark County area, or that as an epileptic who's seizures are uncontrolled is legally required to be reported to the DMV by doctors (at least according to the letter from the hospital and the ER doctors of course DMV dont reply) for revocation of her driving privileges.
Any way she tells doctors how she feels after a seizure and depression being  a post seizure impact she gets quite badly and that thoughts of suicide and are also a side effect of her Kepra. Kepra has a listed (at least in one of the Dr's reference books, CVS or UMC med printouts svrew the citation) side effect of "Rage" WTF kind of side effect is Rage. Sounds like a SciFi disease. Any way UMC transfers her to the locked wing and keeps holding her and holding her and after 7 days we start asking why she hasnt been released. Well she had 3 doctors working on her Two women and Male. The male was the neurologist, one woman a psychologist and the last was the attending or primary or some title like that. The primary Dr. is the one we saw the most and she told us that it was the neurologist and the psychologist who's orders where keeping her there. Well they dont come in every day and so after 3 more days we had finaly gotten to speak to the Psychologist and the neurologist who was confused as to why she was still in the hospital let alone psych/drug withdrawal ward. So we had the Primary saying it was psych and neuro docs and them each saying not me. When we finally got a patient rights person to tell the nurses to tell my fiances mother the actual dr's orders and which dr made them. Turns out the neuro and the psych recommended release and the primary (who had criticized my fiance in front of me and told her if she did realy want to die she would go to hell) had declared my GF some form of incompetent and was waiting for them to have a bed at the psych lock up across town. So after she found she was being lied to, restrained, strapped down, heavily medicated, catheterized and beaten by another patient going through DTs I began leaving messages with ombudsmen and patient rights people at hospital as she not allowed outside contact by Doctors orders. At around 2 am that night one of the actually nice nurses at the station allowed her to call me to let me know she was getting moved to the locked psychological facility. The next day I got a call from the facility saying that her shoes had been lost between there and hospital. And that I had to bring her some. This was Thursday. She got the flip flops I was allowed to bring Friday afternoon. At this point its been almost two weeks since early febuary when she had the seizure that started all this. Sunday evening is the only visitors hours. When I went to see her she could barely stand and looked ill. She told me they had taken her off the Kepra and the Dr. said that she was still on Depakote but the nurse was giving her something else and would not believe that it was the wrong pill. The nurse told her she cant get out unless she takes her pills and does not argue. She said the nurse was calling the pill demoral and does not come in the 250 mg size that my GF said she was supposed to take. So start leaving messages with appropriate employee and monday night at 11:30 pm the decide to release her immediately and I need to get her or shes going on a bus to somewhere.

AND UMC insists that SHE owes them.

Got a call from these lowlife losers the other day. Didnt pick up seeing that it was not a # I recognize. Went to vmail and the whacko nutjob ALSO blaired some cheesy shizz for the entire duration of my vmail.  We dont owe ANY money or debts(kncok on wood) so I dont know why this POS called us.

I know this person has called before because I remember looking up the number on google and came across this board. But that was awhile go. This person called today, didn't answer, and then they called back again. I don't answer phone calls if I don't know them. But since they called twice I answered, thinking it was my boyfriend. When I answered music was blasted into my ear. So thanks for that, my ear drums are sensitive. Going to save the number as "don't answer"

This number calls with a caller ID of "unavailable", when I don't answer, they don't leave a voice mail, they just disconnect.

This number calls daily and blares rock music, then asks whom she is speaking with. says the name is Kate. I called back, and she harassed further. Please stop this "person".

I got the exact SAME message left for me on my voicemail...i didn't bother calling the number back once I heard the blaring music left for me on my phone inbox. They'll never get my money now if it actually is UMC going to such practices. Kiss mine!

I got a missed call from this number. I called it back and Kate also answered. She said someone wanted to talk to me, but she didn't know who. Once I was left on the phone on hold for far too long I hung up. As I was on hold I got a message alert. I listened to the message once I hung up and whoever called me from this # had left me a message with nothing but really really loud music playing in my ear. No voice message at all.

I got call from Kate it was rude and histeric, actualy when I asked her who is she I got answer  that I wasting her time and get fu*#k of my phone. Wow that is profesional way no wonder UMC was sued several times and pay out over 5 milions in damages just last year

Allied Collection Services is whom is at the other end of this phone number, they collect for University Medical Center as one of their clients. I think this is a number located at UMC.
