I keep getting these calls. Funny thing is, they never ask for any particular person, just say they are calling about lowering my interest rate on my card because of me "stellar" credit rating. How can they know I have a "stellar" rating if they don't even ask who they're speaking to?

look at caller id if its them don't pick up.yes its a nusance period.are they breaking the law?appears they are.can anything be done? just what I said above.

I got a call from this number yesterday. This company keeps calling me AFTER I told them that I'm not interested and then hung up. I also reported this number to the FTC, but I still hear from them! What can I do to have this company stop calling me?
miles4 2012-01-11 18:55:57 Unknown
I actually got a can airhorn I blow into the phone after I answer. It's got to shock them.

This call also comes from Beaverton, OR 971-217-9515, Winterpark, FL 321-304-9999 and LasVegas, NV 702-997-9999. Same message every time. Pressing 3 to "discontinue this call" is useless. If anything, it diverts your number to another city of origin. Their computer robo-calls every number in the US probably and lets it ring 3.5 rings then hangs up. (Most answering machines pick up after 4 rings). Just fill out a complaint form with your state attorney general.
For most unsolicited calls, when the ask for "whoever" I politely say "Just a minute", lay the phone down and walk away. You will eventually hear the off hook tone. If you don't answer at all, the computer will continue to dial your number. You can only block 6 local numbers with Cincinnati Bell, or pay a per number fee for more.

After a year or so of harassment from these yahoos, I filed a FOIA request to the FTC for my DoNotCall complaint printouts. They quickly complied and today I'm still, of course getting calls on all 3 of my lines from this company. I have emailed today the FTC on this and asked for help on a number of questions. We'll see what's next.
tiredofscammers 2012-01-03 20:07:23 Unknown
caller id listed this # as 0117029979999, an international call. callers are spoofing the # they call from.

More illegal robo calls from Card Holder Services.
"There's no problem with your current account but it's urgent that you contact us" crap. I don't have an account with them in the first place so of course there's no problem with my current account!!!!!!!
DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They're also calling from 305-304-9999 from Keys, Florida with the exact same recording.
sick ntired of rachel 2011-12-29 22:00:42 Unknown

You think that they only have one number? They have a whole bunch and it will continue. Make a complaint at the"https://www.donotcall.gov/" registery.
On DNCR fps 2011-12-27 18:05:56 Unknown

I don't even have credit cards, I'm not paying interest on anything. They're just cold calling. AND I'm on DNCR (Do not call registry). Don't give these guys any of your information. They obviously have nothing on you but your phone number.

LOL, gonna get me an air horn! Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to be as annoying as they are.
After a straight week of getting the same call, and pressing 3, I decided to press 1 today. Got a man. Told him to take me off his list ~ he ever so nicely screams in my ear... "F--- YOU!" and hung up. Yep. I wanna find something louder than an air horn so I can make him deaf.
Give them hell 2011-12-16 00:21:25 Unknown
Keeping an airhorn by the phone. Might as well share the harassment :)
Chris 2011-12-14 23:40:46 Unknown
The Do Not Call registry is part of the FTC. Everyone that gets a call from these @$$holes, needs to start calling the FTC and asking why they haven't prosecuted them and fined them into extinction? I for one plan to call the FTC (again) tomorrow durring business hours at (202) 326-2222. These people need to be made an example of and if they won't do it, then I will ask my local "investigative news reporter" to find out why???? I think if we turn up the heat on these do***ebags we can get rid of them. I also plan to call Harry Reid's office as they are in NV.

Keep getting robocalls from here. Very annoying. This is the message:
"(garbled) shortly so please consider this your final notice. Press the number three to discontinue further notices for press the number one on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Thank you have a great day."

ANOTHER SCAM CALL ABOUT LOWERING INTEREST RATES! I COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES ABOUT THIS, BUT THESE B*****DS KEEP ON CALLING!

Been getting this call a lot lately. Yesterday, it was a Las Vegas number 702-997-9999, the call was a recording. At the end it said to press 3 to stop future calls...I did. Today, I got a call from Cocoa, Fl 321-305-9999...exact same recording. Said to press 3 or press 1 to speak with somebody. I pressed 1 and the recorder told me there were 8 calls in front of me...to please be patient and hold. I did, then I was caller number 5....then I was caller number 3 and then I was the next call up....The call was then disconnected. I tried to call the number back and a recording said that the number was not in service. These people are just looking for someone to give them information about their personal credit cards. Fat Chance!!!!!

11:01 am - Yet another call about lowering my interest rates.
I blocked it : 702-997-9999
Will see how long it takes for them to change to a new one, to get around the block.
About every month or 2, I clear the blocked list and start anew with blocking.
My AT&T land line service, only gives me 5 or 6 numbers to block.
Mary C. 2011-12-12 22:51:43 Unknown
These people keep calling me and I have asked them not to call me back and to take me off their list. They always hang up on me when I call them back so they don't seem to be very reputable. I am going to call the phone company and complain about them as well. They are scammers!
well said 2011-12-10 18:18:25 Unknown
Thanks, Joey, for your message. I also report each and every scam call I receive to www.donotcall.gov. It's important that we do more than bi*** and moan here. Report each call!

Same peter puffers, using multiple phone numbers to solicit their scamming of credit card information. They also use: 305-304-9999, 727-287-1778, 701-661-1003, 971-220-1966, 321-304-9999, and 727-674-9999. Same morons; ignoring the National and Texas DO NOT CALL lists.
These people can suck a golf ball through a garden hose!!
