I didn't answer this call and they didn't leave a msg.  The caller ID shows DR 2008 as the caller.  I tried to return the call and just get a busy signal.

This seems to be Gary Baise, candidate for Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County, VA.  Why he or his staff would call me in Ohio is beyond me.

computerized phone call about football.  I'm on the do not call list.  the call had a recording of somebody called Lee McGrith or maybe Lee McGriff--I don't follow football, but I'm assuming that it is somebody that football fans would know.  I think they said it was Gator Radio.

If this Gary Baise, candidate for Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County, VA, why am I getting calls in Ohio?  I bet we have gotten a half a dozen calls in the last 48 hours and no message is left.  Like many of you, we don't answer if we don't recognize the number.

political with no answer on call back

Have received numerous calls from this number in the past month. Each time it comes up as "DR 2008". Same robocaller as reported above with some annyoning political message. I have repeatedly stated my annoyance with this message during the point of the call where they await a response. So far my pleads have gotten me nowhere.
They wonder why American's don't go out and vote....

Recieved several calls from a 'Dr. 2008'. Never have answered them, never answered. No messages were left. I don't vote, so I don't appreciate these phone calls.

Received a call a few minutes ago-703-263-3389 displayed on caller id and message on answering machine said "This is a political call and we may call back later"

Got a call for this number, when answered, no one was or at least they would say anything.  Tried to call back, but number was always busy.  When they call from this number it is hard to get a disconnect from that end, will keep my line tied up at lest a minute after I hangup.  I too suspect this is someone making political calls for one candiate after another.  This should be as illegal as sales call and if one puts their number on the DO NOT CALL list, then something should be done about all the political calls that are the same nuisance as sales call, maybe even worse, but do you think anyone in congress would suggest or even try to make political phone call illegal?  NO WAY, this is a very cheap way they can worry the ---- out of a person.  I have got to the point that when I receive one of this calls, I will ask who they are support or calling for just to make sure I have the right name, then will inform them I had planned on voting for their candidate, but now that they have resorted to calling me, I am not going to cast my vote that candidate's way.  Don't know if this makes any difference, but it makes me feel better.

Received a call tonight and didn't answer.  Caller id said Dr 2008.  I signed up for the no call list and I wish I could do the same for these annoying calls also.

Received a call from this number with an automated message about a political candidate, said the message was approved by "Bayes for Chairman."

it basically said not to waste you vote for Connely, since he will not committ to serving for more than one year, but vote for Bays.

These calls are a "push-poll" on behalf of the Stephen Snow campaign for Dulles district supervisor in Loudoun County. They _falsely_ state that I favor "abuser fees."  I do NOT favor these fees.  I would be grateful to anyone who could pass along more information about these calls by sending a description of what they hear to info at miller4dulles.com.

I have pledged not to use this despicable tactic myself.  Mr. Snow refused to support a board resolution against push-polls last month.  Now we know why.

This number keeps calling my cell phone late at night. I won't answer if I don't know the number. I called the number back from my un-traceable work line and it just rings. I believe this is the same group calling from 703/ 488-9821.

Got a robocall phone message from this number. It said "DR 2008" on caller id.
