I got the same message but from a new number 805-574-7462. I do have a yahoo messenger account so I IM'd them and all I got back was a IM asking if I wanted to chat with a freak, then nothing else. I think they are getting names from Facebook. Also found out an email account was set up under my maiden name which I have no email accounts set up with that and someone is sending messages from this account to my friends on facebook...this is a total scam and they are using FB.

i also got a call from 703-291-3986 with the same as everyone is posting i went and blocked the number from future calls and text messages

I also received a call saying "hi (and my name)" from 703-291-3986
I sent a text back: "Hi back to you, only I dont recognize the number. could you let me know who you might be?"
They texted back "do ya use Y! IM? cause msg me my id is textieflirt6"
I replied "No. I dont know where you got my name or number but f*** off, im not interest and dont ever text me again you freak"
They then texted "Ohh...My celly s bout to die :( "
I just replied "your a f**ing freak psycho and if you do not leave me alone I will have to take action against you. I never ever want to hear from you again!"
I haven't heard from them since.

Not giving my name. But also got a message from the same number saying Hello and addressing my name. 7032913986. I don't even know any one from over there.

Received a text message that just said hello and addressed me by my first name. I believe that this a scam and I am going to report the number.

I got a text from 703-291-3986. It simply said "Hola Carlos". Curious I Googled the number and see reports of other texts. The other texts appear to have been in English. I don't know who this is.

I received a text from this number as well. Anyone I know in the Virginia area are in my contacts list. Is it a scam??

I was sent a txt on my private line,saying I needed to add them on yahoo and they used my alias as if they knew me...I would appreciate this to not occur in the future. And the only people I know in that area of Virginia are buried or ashes...so this rather annoys me...
