Woman with such heavy accent, I could only understand a few words on the lengthy msg she left... "consulting firm" was mentioned a couple times, and "we would like to help you"... a sure sign of a scam!  

This isn't the company's website, so nobody is going to remove you from their list...

Weirded out?  Have you ever gotten anything from Publisher's Clearing House?  If you are a US Citizen, your name is public record.  So is your address and anyone with $ .01 can buy your phone number if they can't find it for free anyway.

The FBI could try, but will likely be unable to care less about this.

Whoever currently owns this number for my information from my website's whois and they call two or three times a day asking for me to develop a mobile site and app through them.

This number calles every 15 to 20 minutes.  What a pain

I got a call from this indian guy named James and he tries to offer building me a web site for a domain I recently purchased. I am a web developer too so I really don't need someone asking me for work. It is funny how this number has gone from offering gift cards to doing web development, so that clearly shows they are scammers. Avoid at all cost!

Spammer who found my phone number on my domain registration records. Wants to build me a website. Doesn't realize that I AM a web developer, and if I needed someone to build a website I would hire someone who speaks English.

Thats what happened to me I didnt even have a chance to say anything before they said my name.

Got a call from these people this morning stating that I was a finalist in a potential sweepstakes. Knew my name and address :/ Started telling me I was going to get sent information on a gift basket with several different gift cards and such in it and tried to sell me some magazines. After being talked to by 3 different people and keeping on telling them I didn't want the magazines one lady sounded frustrated and finally hung up with me. Wanted to know if I was married, where I worked, etc. but never asked for card info. Not knowing if it was legit I refused to answer questions.

Just because there IS  do not call registry it does not mean they will not call. Ask yourself how may times you see smokers  lighting up in a non smoking area. Apparently they must all be smokers as smoking takes away the ability to read and understand requests. ;-)

HAS CALLED ME MANY TIMES DAILY I NEVER ANSWER

I have gotten 4 calls from this number just this morning.  I don't answer.  If important, they should leave a message, but they don't.  Very annoying.  I am also at work.

Called my cell twice this AM. Left voice mail "message" that was nothing but static type noise, no actual words.

Got a call from this stupid jerk kept calling me in the middle of class. UGH. Don't call me or I will end these  people a virus

2 missed calls won't leave msg number unknown

These calls are annoying. No one there when you answer and if you don't answer they leave a message but static. Very rude no manners. No wonder Telemarketers have a bad rep.

It may well be related to, in "odd" ways", a series of Gift Cards being given away since about January 2013. We are being inundated with these calls, and at least from this and related numbers, most Caller ID as "Sterling VA", and the pattern seems to be regarding "You won a gift card", then "All you have to do is send us money or give us your debit /credit card information to verify that it is you".

What they are NOT saying is that it's one whale of a fraud scam that DOES cross state lines, and should be referred to the FBI or to the Justice Department.

This number has been calling my cell phone everyday multiple times and its really getting to my nerves. Is there any law to stop and put someone in prison for this type of harassment?

DO NOT CALL ME -- I WILL NOT ANSWER YOUR CALL. IT IS ANNOYING AND I AM GROWING TIRED OF YOUR CALLS.

The same thing just happen to me. But I told the lady Stacy that I didn't need the magazine cause I get them online. Ans she said, "Well I can't convince you bye" and hangs up WOW

yeah  same here, i used one of my throw away cell fones to call back,  same static, an a pakastania type voice answered 'hello',  i hung up  scam  for sure
