I keep getting all sorts of unwanted calls, here is the solution. When they ask for me I tell them I am his brother and that Roger died last week. They never call back.

Just got a call from this number asking for my husband by name. States they were from the rifle association.

703-436-2528 This is the NRA. Calls anywhere from 2-4 times a day. Never leaves a message. My husband picked it up last night and they wanted money to fight Obama so he wouldn't get back in. My husband told them if they didn't stop calling our number he would cancel his membership and slammed the phone down. Only time will tell if they call back. Right down ridiculous!

Found out it's the NRA and they are a pain in the A**! They call morning, noon and night. Yes my husband is unfortunately a LIFETIME member, and they still call looking for money. Last time this happened, when calls were up to 4 times a day, I told them my husband shot and killed himself (not true)....but they still kept calling.

I called it back and it is the NRA. My husband belongs so they can call us. I am sure they want money however have none to give.

Just got a call from this number but I don't pickup and let the answer machine take it but they hung up.
Looked it up on the internet and glad I did'nt answer...Thanks For The Info.

This is a trick to get around the "Do Not Call List". Most people have "Caller ID", and some call this number back. By calling the number back and that opens the door for the caller to say they have a "pre-existing relationship" with you because you called them. Now they are not in violation, of the "Do Not Call" regulation, once they have established the "pre-existing relationship" because you have called them.

this seems to be an auto dial program to verify your # is good. As soon as you answer the caller hangs up, I imagine in a few days the solicitation calls will begin.

I've been getting a lot of calls lately, from out of state area codes. That's unusual in itself.
It is 703-436-2528. I know that it is in the Lorton, Alexandria, Annandale, Arlington, Virginia area.
Has anyone else been receiving calls from this number, and do you know who it is?
