It calls more than 5 times a day, before it was monday throug friday for the past 2 weeks is also the weekends every 2 to 3 hours.

I received 5 calls on my cell phone from 703-656-9962 today (2/11/2008).  No message was left. I'm calling my phone company now to ask them to block the number.

Fleabag debt collectors. They called me all day and into the night and either hung up, or there was no one the line. If you tell them not to call anymore they MUST stop. If that doesn't work send a letter to: Encore Receivable Management Inc. -- ERMI -- 400 N. Rogers Road, Olathe KS 66062 with proof of delivery. If they still persist report them to the FDCPA and FTC. I did and voila no more calls. Most of the calls originate from Manassas VA and they use several different numbers. The "manager's" name is Ben. They are usually trying to collect for GE Money Bank. Try filing a complaint with GE informing they will also be named to the FDCPA and FTC.

They call me at least 4 or more times a day and at least 2 to 3 times saturday and sunday.  They also call late at night up until 9pm.  They don't answer right away and say "Please wait for the next available agent"  What is up with that?  Getting tired of it!!!!!

they have called five times a day for the last three days.  I have contacted JCPenneys.  they said they would have my number removed from the call list, but that it would take 24 hrs to do so.  If the calls don't stop I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general's office. I already have the paperwork filled out. I just filed a complaint with the FTC.  we'll see if any of it does any good.  the last call came in at 8:58 tonight.

Write to them, return receipt requested. what they are doing is harrassment.

These people are calling both my cell phone during peak minutes and also my home line at least 10 times per day seven days a week, they have been advised repeatedly to cease and desist, verbal notification is all that is required per WA State RCW code, federal mandates sending them a letter, I would recommend return receipt requested, signature required.  To send the letter, mail it to:

I spoke with supervisor Vena Dunrinski who tried to tell me that they do not have to contact me in writing per the RCW code of WA state, which is a direct violation of my consumer rights.  I notified them to remove both of my telephone numbers from their databases and if I receive one more contact from them I will sue them for harassment.

this number has been calling me  on my cell phone for over 3 to 4 months now, calling me everyday, it used to be more than 10 times a day but now its at least 5, they call every morning at like 5:30 am and they give it like an hour or two and call again and then they don't call till later on in the day...before they didn't call in weekends, but now they do...they left me voice mails couple times, a lot of noises and typing and once it said " heyyyy" and hung up...im tired of these ppl, whoever the hell it is...i want these b*****ds gone, so they leave us all alone and get a LIFE!!!!

Have been calling 3-4 times per day - on a private, unlisted number. Asking for my son and refusing to talk to me. I got on with my son and they were very mad - started yelling at me that I was inviolation of federal law. They wanted my sons bank account number to clear an over due account - with a store he has never had an account with. Told them to contact my lawyer - I think the callers final comment was up yours. What a scam.

Anwered after the call showed up on caller ID for three days.  It was 8 pm, I asked who was calling and they asked me my name.  I informed them I was not in the habit of talking to people I don't know.  Said his name was Jay and asked for me again.  I asked what the company did and there was a long pause...we're a financial institution.  He was being very illusive so I told him that I would not talk with him or identify myself until he did the same.  Received another call from ERMI again at 8:00 am today.

calls all day. early in the morning until very late at night also calls all weekend long. very annoying and rude.

when 9 pm is looming (the latest that they can legally call)  they really ramp it up, there has been a few times when there was only 4 minutes from the last call.  I have actually spoken with one of the reps and told them that I don't hand out my checking information to just anyone who happens to call me.  And I most definately will not divulge that information without a MAILED bill and they have refused to do so (but alas I am still getting my Penney's bill each month

These people are totally obnoxious, there are days when they call every 20 minutes,  they are legit though because they are updated with payments made on the bill via the store.  They are really pressuring for checks over the phone,  The accent is really difficult to understand, and they really really want me to believe that I can only make a payment through them.

Found out they are Encore a collection agency in India used by GE money.  I'm in a debt consolidation program and that's why they are calling. They never leave a message and I do not answer numbers I do not recognize.  They have even called my next door neighbor!  I call UCAN and they stop the calls!  I told the person if they cannot speak ENGLISH - I'm not speaking to them!

call several times a day asking for someone I don't know. VERY ANNOYING! I work nights and have turned the phones off so I can get some rest. ARGH!

Been Recieving these calls from ERMI for weeks now who the hell is this that keeps calling My phone just went of 10 minutes ago and decided to check this out online I guess I'n not the only one getting these calls who are these people has anybody reported them  ?????

The call every every half hr Sat and Sun mornings and three or four times in the evening: that I know of.. I am at work during the day.. They don't leave a message. It's a new number (just moved into the apartment). No one there when I pick up the phone. Stopped answering.
