It's a recruiter.  Because they are listed as a 'minority business' the Fed makes companies provide a percentage of 1st. tier leads to them.  Plus, a boatload just got laid off at IBM/India, so now they're here, taking YOUR JOB.  

Figured out that this number belongs to a tech firm that specializes in outsourcing. Here is their U.S. contact information:

Mostly garbled up message. Very unintelligible. Woman's voice. Very soft. Indian accent.
The crux of the message is that they are interested in recruiting me for a job.
I cannot make out the extension number and calling the phone number back does NOT reveal the name of the company.
They simply ask me to enter the extension of my party.
Umm, can't do that, I can't even understand the message!
Very suspicious if you asked me.

I would not trust them, working out of the house?   sounds like a scam.  just block'em and be done.

Like Dude above, the number seems to be from a company called Axius, except I know them as a recruiting agency. They claim to be based in Virginia. Their website is VERY sparse, almost completely devoid of information. Didn't leave a message but a quick peek on Google Maps reveals that their "Corporate Headquarters" appears to be a house somewhere in the Virginia suburbs! Can't say I trust them!

So I just got a call from this number and decided the take it.  I didn't get the guys name, could only understand half of what he said - sounded like he had a very thick Indian accent.  The following conversation went like this:

Guy:  Hello I'm calling from Axius ------ Services.  May I speak to -------------- ?
Me:  Ummmm.......yes, ummm........thats me.
Guy:  Hello I am calling about your tax services which you can also log on to our website at axius------.com.   Are you currently in our system?
Me:  Ummmm......no.
Guy:  I see, well you have to file for taxes.
Me:  Ummmm......no.
Guy:  But everyone files taxes, did you do taxes for 2011?
Me:  Ummmm......no.
Guy:  You didn't do taxes for 2011?  You need to do taxes and we can help you with that.
Me:  Ummmm......no.
Guy:  What?  But you need to file taxes!
Me:  Ummmm......no I don't.  
Guy:  Yes you do, have you done any work recently?
Me:  Ummmm......nope.
Guy:  I see, but you must have done something.
Me:  Ummmm......nope.  No work done.
Guy:  I see, no work in 2011?  Have you a ----- VISA?
Me:  Ummmm......nope.
Guy:  You don't have a VISA?  You don't have a H ----- VISA?
Me:  Ummmm......nope.  I don't have VISA, I have Discover.
Guy:  What?  I'm sorry I didn't get you, you don't have VISA?
Me:  Ummmm......nope.
Guy:  I see......alright.......well have a nice day then.

I'm going to put this guy's number on my block list!
