Also received a bill from this company stating I owed them $835.00 for a visit to a CMC hospital. I called the hospital direct and they verified that I did not stay in their facilities on any of the days in question.

So much for our medical records being safe...WTG CMC.

Received a letter today that says I owe a doctor bill to CMC Faculty  Physicians.Tried to called these people and all I got was a recording.Has no itemized bill with this so if they think I owe money then send the bill.

Got a "bill" in the mail from "CMC Faculty Physicians" claiming I owed them money, and that if I didn't pay them they would submit my "delinquent debt" to my state department of revenue for them to collect from my taxes.  If I were to want to dispute the amount they claim I owe, they demand that I submit to them:
1. My Name
2. My address
3. My Social Security Number
4. The type of debt in dispute, and
5. A detailed statement of all the reasons I disagree or dispute the amount.

*pffffft*  As IF I would EVER give an unknown entity my name, address, and SSN.  Can you say identity theft?  I knew you could.  DO NOT RESPOND.  Throw the letter away.  They cannot do anything to you.

Carolinas Physicians Network left a message with an account number. It was about an outstanding bill.  They will ask you for DOB and Social Security number.  I found their "Billing Resources" and "Billing Policies" in their "Online Billing Manager" when pressing the ONLINE SERVICES button.  Good luck.
