Just got a call from these jerks and let it go to voicemail. These guys, and a bunch of other debt collectors and other scum have been bothering me for more than a year looking for someone completely unrelated to myself. I cannot get rid of these people.

I've received calls from these people before, so they will be getting a Cease & Desist letter from me, along with a complaint with the BBB and FTC. I refuse to tolerate these companies exchanging my personal information without my consent and invading my privacy.

Debt Collector

Started getting calls today, called both home number and cell number back to back. Hung up in my face when I answered.

These butt heads keep calling us asking for Tamitha Franks.....for years now and we keep asking them to remove us from their error account 7 times now.. We have never known who this person is.
So, I'm scheduled to talk to an attorney on the on 12-28-2011. Looks like I'l have to solve this the hard way, but they will pay for my time and all the fees involved.

I keep getting calls from this number and don't answer but today I thought I'd answer just to see what they had to say.  They told me I had a debt of $35,000 which is totally false since I am completely debt free.  Total scam!

A person called "Ms. Tucker" called my cell phone asking for a family member, then stated the call was being recorded and when I asked for additional information - she refused to provide.  I asked her not to call my number ever and she has since called three times, hanging up after I answer.

These people are FAKE dept collecctors! they called me and called me and called me! *Frustration*
I do not owe dept, I cannot owe dept, I cannot loan, as I am only 13. No.

They called and asked if I knew someone named Mark?  I have not outstanding debts. Don't know why they are calling.

guess i'm on the list for them to call and sure they do not want me so just ignore  for now!!!

I received a call about some account claiming that it was placed with them for final review.  The thing is the message that was left was very clear except for the name of the person which seems deliberate.  I have no such accounts opened.  As a matter of fact, I got so paranoid with the message that I immediately went online to check my credit report to see if there was anyone messing with my identity.  No such report was found on my credit report.  SO I will just ignore the call for now.

I called back the # given in the VM & he said they said they were trying to reach a person I've never heard of. He politely apologized and said they would remove my number. Fingers crossed & we'll see...

Haha - what about those who have not been able to find work. They suddenly lose their job and cannot currently pay because they are trying to keep a roof over their heads. The reason we are in a recession is because of the jobs being sent to other countries and no industry to replace those being outsourced. If the unemployment were not so high, then people would be working and be able to pay their bills.

They wanted me to use their service. This something that was done before with offering new mortgages to people and they say "We are calling about your mortgage and would like you to call immediately" This one wants you to use them to wipe out debt. Fraud

This guy called my cell 3 days ago asking for a guy named Kevin - I am not Kevin, never have been Kevin and don't even KNOW a Kevin. He questioned me when I told him he had the wrong number, I asked who he was and said he was from NCO Financial. I again told him he had the wrong number so he proceeded to tell me he would remove my number from thier file. I now received another call today - same stupid guy calling and asking for the same name! I reminded him of the call 3 days earlier and him telling me he would remove my number from his "file". He then tells me he has several "files" for this person? HA! Right! Sounds like I called him out and he didn't know what to say. I told him I know they are a scam debt collector calling random numbers and he mimicked me!! Jerk! I told him based on all the complaints posted about thier company that I reported them after the 1st call and will now report them again on the DO NOT CALL...at least for starters. I am listed, never done business with them, asked them to remove my number, have 0 debt and they still call! I'm sure this will not end soon.

Getting calls 2-3 times a day from NGO Financial. They use multiple phone numbers from all over the country. They call anyone with a partial name of the person they are trying to harass, regardless if it's a first or last name! For example, if they want to find someone with the name of Benjamin Walker, they will call anyone with the name of "Benjamin" or "Walker," regardless if those are first or last names of the innocent people they continue to call. I've told them to STOP calling me because I am NOT the debtor they are looking for. But I continue to get calls.

This is utterly obnoxious, and I'm sick of it. Nearly 80% of my phone calls now are from NGO Financial or similar debt collector orgs. This MUST STOP!

Right. They want you to call and harass your relative for them. It's a common debt collection tactic.

I get calls daily from these people but they are asking for someone I have never heard of. I have asked to be removed from their database multiple times, but they still keep calling. Have had this number for years but seems I need to change it. Thank you Bridgette Roberts for making up my phone number to use as your shady fake information.

How can they be stopped? is it possible to sue for harrassment. Ive gotten calls as early as 5:00 am and being pregnant I really am not in the mood to deal with this.

people should have a little bit more sense first off if a collection agency is calling the wrong number dont ignore the call for months let them know they have the wrong number, and to the people that actually owe pay your bills on time and this will not be an issue is there not suppose to be a penalty for all the people that uses up credit and never pays it back when are all the people that scream about how we are in a recession going to step back and realize that half the reason our country is suffewring is for this very reason.......be more responsible people and stop being the victim
