I got a call from this number but did not answer because I did not recognize the caller.  Thanks to you who have left notes on this message board, I now know NOT to ever answer calls from this number.  I agree that it's probably spam.

Yesterday I was looking for jobs online and registered, foolishly giving my cell phone number and e.mail address. Today, I'm receiving calls from a Chicago number and this 859-5610 number, and who knows what else I'll get.  Two minutes ago I received a text from a landline no less. The text states "1 NEW VMAIL 0 URG 0 FAX *86". Anyone knows what that's about? This is CRAZY!

This guy has called and left no message. Very cryptic.

I called the number back (704-859-5610), and some recording identified it as "TTC," or something close to that. After listening to a long message, they give you the option to leave a message with your number, and it will be removed. I just did it, so we'll see if they do what they say. I shouldn't have to be calling them and having to listen to a long message to start with, but hopefully they will go away now. As i write this, there is legislation in Congress to make it easier for companies to call you on your cell phone without consent, and the argument is that many people no longer use a land-line. I say tough, and if you get the chance, make sure your representatives vote against the proposal. I don't know what it's called, but I learned about it while listening to NPR last week. They had 2 guests on the show, one on each side of the debate. The guy who was for the measure argued that companies like FedEx and the airlines may need to get in touch with you, and right now they have to have your consent each time. I say let's keep it that way. You can always give them your consent when you fly or when you are to receive a package. Those who do these things daily always have the option of consenting all the time, but there's no reason it should be the "default" setting for the rest of us.

This number called my phone looking for my boyfriend. I told them he wasnt available and asked if they would like to leave a message, the woman said no, there is no message, I'll try back later.

This number has been calling me numerous time a day for 4 days straight. They never leave a voicemail. I finally picked up this morning and they proceeded to ask me how old i was, what school i was going to, and if i graduated. They also said that they recorded the phone call.

This # keeps calling my cell phone - never leaves message.  Has gone on for at least a week.

This number rang my phone but I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number. The last time I received annoying phone calls from a "business" I called them and told them to take me off their calling list. I had to do this three times but it finally worked.
