Called the number back and they are a company called "RESORT HOLIDAY".  Sounds like a time share thing.  Just ignore the calls.  I tried calling them back to take my number off their calling list and they said that there mail box was full and hung up on me.

It's a time share resort trying to offer a free stay as long as you sit and listen to their 2-hour speech

Called January 6, 2008 @ 5:15 p.m.  Answered phone but phone was hung up.

call rec'd late yesterday afternoon and on display it says V10301707220009 .. In checking the other phone dispaly it shows the phone no 1-705-444-5970 and doing that check I see again Collingwood time sharing group.

No one there of course. But previous reports say this is a telemarketer from some resort or timeshare outfit in Collingwood Ontario. Def. area code 705. What's the point of calling if they don't say anything? Stupid a$$holes!

Called at 5:36pm to say that we had been up at their resort a few years ago, when it was a time share resort, but they are the new owners of the resort and they have put $16,000,000. into the resort and would like us to come up for a 2 day:1 night, or 3 day: 2 night stay for free. Ha Ha Ha. As they say, " If it sounds to good , it usually is." They said they are just showcasing the new resort, open to the public.

Someone called ina rude tone and asked for me, my wife told them Iam busy and they said that they will call back, I was intrigued and call this number but a recording kept on saying you are first in line and call will be answered by the first available operater.

I'am getting calls from tjis number every 2-3 days in the last 3 weeks.
This is a telemarketing call on behalf of Blumountain resort or some other. They often do not answer at all if you pick up, because this is a recording and in most cases this is a recorded message. My advise, if you see this number again, do not answer.

705-444-5970 called after 9:30 pm.  I was upset because they woke up my son that had just gone to sleep.  The caller responded to me with a beligerant outburst of cursive language and name calling.  I tried calling the number back and for 15 minutes all I got was a recording saying "you're first in line, your call will be answered by the next available .... blah blah blah".

Did not pick up receiver as caller not recognized.  Jan 15/08 4:42pm  No message left on machine or sound heard before caller hung up.

Received a call just before dinner (surprise surprise) and a gentleman told me that myself or a friend had put my name down for free night or two to a resort up north in bluemoutain area.  Basically told me there is no obligation to buy anything,  he also said that they had made $1 million dollars in renos and would like to know if we were interested in staying the night or two.  Friends of ours have gone, and they actually enjoyed themselves but if you can get through the first hour after getting there, you might just get alittle getaway out of it for free.

I have had calls from the number listed.......many times, but because of call display, I don't answer or if I do, I pick up the receiver and hang it down without saying anything.

HOW DO YOU STOP THIS?

Same Number called an automated message saying I can save on my interest rates for only a short time then have me several options to push.

Received a call from 705-444-5970 at 1:00 am January 9/08.  As we were in bed and rudely woken up, I missed getting to the phone on time, so I tried to call back, but to not avail, as when answered a machine proceeded to tell me that this extension could not receive messages.
What can we do to stop these rude intrusions especially in the middle of the night?

Called 5 times in one day.  Latest call at 11 PM.  No one appears to be on the other line.  Eventually they/it hangs up.

This is a number from a resort in Collingwood saying that you have won a 1 night stay i was vary upset with them after asking them on many occasions to remove me from the calling list the past couple of months and they still insist to call again tonight
