Got a call from this person yesterday around 2 pm didnt answer it but when i tried to call back its busy just like everyone elses comment says :)

Just declined call from unknown number: 706-273-3804.  No message.

Got a call from this number just now: tho' I picked up & repeated "hello" 3 times, there was no sound on the other end.  I hung up.

I keep getting calls about my warranty expiring, same as everyone else. I fiured it was a scam and the "live representative" I spoke with couldn't tell me what kind of car I had without giving him my social security number first! HA! Does anyone fall for this?? I told him I wouldn't do that and he said he could look it up by credit card number as well. What an idiot! I said I wanted to be removed from their list and he hung up on me. That was Friday and today (Monday) I got the same call from the same number. This is harassment.

I just received my 6th call from these guys, and decided to do some research. You can't get ahold of "Randy" but you can get ahold of the Phone Carrier.  Randy's telephone service is brought to you by >>>Ellijay Telephone Company. Their phone number is 706-276-2271<<<< If enough people complain to the provider, I bet something gets accomplished....

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The telephone number in question, 706-273-3804, is not a working number.

It has not been in service for several years.  Here is what we believe is happening to everyone who has received similar calls:

There is a telemarketing business out there who is able to misrepresent or "spoof" their outbound Caller-ID information.  They have probably chosen this number at random or because they've discovered it is in reality a non-working number.  This malicious business has been able to draw attention away from its real location and identity by using this unrelated number as its outbound Caller-ID.

We sincerely regret you have received such irritating calls, but we do not believe any customer of ours is making them.  Also, please be assured we will be investigating this fraudulent use of Caller-ID from every angle possible so the source can hopefully be stopped allowing the calls to cease.

As a solution for the present, your local carrier (landline or cell) should be able to provide you with a Call Screening feature which can be used to reject all calls from specific numbers.

omg he just called me too. i just searched his number on google and i found this

all that I had done that has something to do with warranty in the recent 3 years is calling up a company and ask for a warranty quote a few month ago. I do not even have a car. So I guess that company that I called sold my number to this scam company which is trying to sell me the warranty.

I also got a call from this number telling me that my auto policy/warranty was about to expire and that I should purchase a new policy at his exceptional rates for good drivers.  I know exactly when it will expire and who I have it insured with.  I asked questions about his creditials and underwriter...no response. daa....he hung up.  He is looking for suckers who will fall for his scam.  He or the group of thievs that hide behind the number are hoping you will fall for their psycological fishing scheme and give them your money for nothing. It's a fraud.  Don't fall for it. (oh I knw it's phishing in internet lango. )

i didn't answer. they left no message. in the past couple of weeks i've been getting quite a few calls like this from numbers across the u.s. i never answer them if i don't recognize the numbers, but they are annoying anyway.

automated call --"second notice on your auto warranty" -- sick of these calls to my cell phone   Different area codes and numbers will call with the same message. Real sneaky! I've been receiving all of these calls for 3 months!

Got a call on my cell in Dallas but didn't answer.  Tried to call back and phone was busy.  Maybe someone in the Georgia area should go by and knock on the door of this person and tell them they are being watched and to stop scamming the public.

THIS PERSON IS A PAIN IN THE A**.  I FEEL LIKE WE ARE MARRIED THEY CALL EVERY WEEK TWO TO THREE FRICKING TIMES.  GET A LIFE!  OH YOU HAVE ONE PUSHING BUTTONS...NERD.
