posted a room for rent on Craigslist  and this person said she was a from Spain but was a professional pharmacist working in a hospital in London, I became suspicious when she said she was working on a project for the EPA. (two different jobs) I later received a message wanting info to send a money order from her dad...then gave me a ph number in Athens Ga. I then told her to F**CK OFF!

Same here!! I deposited the check and its on hold. Good thing found this!!

These idiots have tried twice to scam us. Didn't work first time as I caught it immediately! Again today. Wish there was something someone could do about it, to get them nailed to the wall! Anyways, I want to encourage people to post here, before someone does get hurt from the jerks. Number they used is 706 389 5219

If you post any type of apartment listing on craig's list be prepared to receive these messages. All of the spam messages are written almost the same way every time. Do not fall for pictures or numbers, its there to make the scam seem more real

do not trust these people. they wanted to SCAM me  by renting  my timeshare via Craigslist

this is what she writes:
