These people (Cardmember Services) are credit card thieves. They have asked me for my credit card number (which is why I think they are credit card thieves), and they emphatically refuse to give me a number where I can call them back. With good reason, because then law enforcement would be able to find them. They also break the law every time they call me because my number is on the Do Not Call list, the call is recorded, and they refuse to identify their real phone number.
If you want to jerk them around and waste their time (but not yours), pretend interest. Tell them you owe upward of $10K, with interest of 14% or more. Then, when they ask for your credit card statement, tell them you have to go find it. Then eat your meal, read the newspaper, or whatever. String them along to keep them on the line. Then end with the bum's rush where you ask for a number where you can call them back. When they refuse to give you one, pretend surprise and ask, "Are you a reputable business? I don't do business with people who don't have addresses or phone numbers. Maybe you are really a thief; if so, never call me again."

Re: Anil Credit Services, 706-805-1779
Dear Mr. Hadden:
I am in receipt of several telephone calls from the above telephone number. Each of these ?robo? calls includes information that it involves some credit card account(s), that this is my ?second and final notice?, and after pressing ?1? and talking to the people calling it is readily apparent that they don?t care a whit about the FEDERAL DO NOT CALL LIST.
I am including a document containing all of my telephone numbers.
DEMAND IS HEREBY MADE that you instruct your end-user telephone subscribers to immediately CEASE AND DESIST with illegal telephone calls to (A) any and all numbers on the FEDERAL DO NOT CALL LIST and (B) every person / entity who tells them not to call anymore.
Should your company not comply with this demand immediately it will be my intention to file suit against your company in a court of competent jurisdiction requesting an injunction prohibiting your company from facilitating the ongoing harassment demonstrated by your subscriber.
Just so you know it is already on the internet, posted by someone else that when you call back the company at the above number and select the ?talk to a representative? option from the menu their system is programmed to tell you: ?You've reached the worst company in America who employs idiots to cold call and be rude.? http://complaintwire.org/complaint/psLbjfhHOQ ... member-services
As your company has likely been facilitating this company?s illegal activities for some time I will immediately be forwarding a copy of this letter to the following entities:
Federal Trade Commission
600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20580
Federal Communications Commission
445 12th Street SW
Washington, DC 20554
Georgia Public Service Commission (404) 656-4501

Thanks and have a GREAT DAY!
Sincerely,

Try reporting the phone calls to the FCC. They take a sworn statement. This has made a difference in reducing the calls to my number. The do-not-call report from other agencies is a waste of time.

Cortney, you have not read the previous 11 pages of posts, which states the "card service" scammers are not a legitimate "business", but a group of drug -addicted criminals. Good luck!

This company continues to call me after I have requested that they take my number off their list given that we are on the Do Not Call Registry. They begin with a recorded message that states "this is your last chance to get a better rate on credit card debt." Today, I pressed a number in order to get to a customer service agent and when I asked the guy to take me off their list bc we are on the DNC Registry, he stated "whatever." I replied that he should remove us immediately or I would report him to which he replied "No. Bye." and hung up on me. This is beyond unacceptable for any company, especially when you are on the DNC Registry and have previously asked to be removed from their call list.

Probably a SCAM, since the operator (their for your assistance) gets aggravated instantly if u politely ask a question. I asked them to take me off their phone calling list..... we'll see if that happens, since I've been getting calls from this "AMERICAN CREDIT ASSOCIATES" for the last 8 months, AND I AM on 'THE DONOT CALL LIST'
| floridian 2014-01-16 18:35:10 Unknown |
Finally started putting all the bothersome calls out there for others to see. Will begin an exhaustive log in to NDC with numbers who are a big pain in the butt.

Hartwell GA for me too. Pain in the buttt!!

I have received calls from this number over a dozen times in the past three months, both on our land line and on my cell phone. There is no indication who the caller is, only 706-805-1775 shows on the CID. I haven't answered it, no message is left. It isn't anyone I know, or a valid business attempting to contact me - so its got to be phishers.

WHOEVER YOU ARE, TAKE MY NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST.
YOUR CALLS ARE UNWANTED, I NEVER GAVE YOU MY UNLISTED NUMBER.
I WONDER HOW YOU GOT IT.
I WILL REPORT YOUR CALLING NUMBER TO THE PROPER AGENCY TO STOP YOU.

I've been getting calls from these idiots for over 3 yrs now. They won't stop calling, and when you call the number back, it doesn't exist!!!!!! I know it is a CC Scam, but no one can seem to do anything about it!!!!

NL Credit services (Customer Care Management Platform)
Call them back with *67 and press 2 then enter your phone number (press 2 again) to add your number to their do not call list

The card service scammers WILL "service" our credit cards, BUT, when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

This is the 4th call from this particular number BUT this is the third call in 2 hours from scammers. Identify themselves as Card Member Svcs or Bank Card Svcs. One left a message - last time to take advantage of federal stimulus, blah, blah.
They call often using many fake numbers in attempt to trick me into answering my phone and giving them personal information.
I pay for caller ID for a specific reason - I never answer unknown numbers or unknown callers.

I've received several calls not only from this phone number, but others as well from all over the country. I have found that the best way, besides the fraud story, is to call back the number. An automated or real operator comes on the line and will get your number (where they keep calling you) and to press either #1 to be removed or any other number they have listed to remove your name.
Believe it or not-IT REALLY WORKS!!!

tired of them calling everyday several times a day, when I "press 1" to speak to someone as soon as I ask them to remove my # they hang up on me, and when I tried to call it back says # is not in service, ugh really you just called me from it I have caller id, geez

This is the credit card rate reduction scam. Most likely thieves. Avoid.

Yes, there is a way to stop the "card services" scammer's annoying calls! Just go to 800Notes 813 444 5700, page 4, and read my, and others, ideas that have worked very well, for persons with a sense of humor, who are willing to answer the lowlifes calls once or twice. The secret is not letting them know you are playing games with them, because , as you have learned, they can be very vindictive!

I have gotten messages from credit card services 706-805-1775: multiple times over the past few days. I filed a complaint with the FCC Do not Call registery ( probably won't do anything). With all the "TARGET Issues", you would think the FCC or someone would do something about blocking this number.

I have also taken the route of not answering and letting the machine pick up. However, it keeps on coming. Will try to continue to ignore and hopefully the frequency of these calls will diminish.

I?m hoping you can point me in the right direction as to who can help me with a harassing phone call I received from a telemarketer today.
I received a phone call from #706-805-1775 at 11:55 today. It was an automated call that asks you to press 1 for relief from credit card debt. Since we receive at least a call a day from these people and I?ve pressed 2 on previous occasions (to be removed from their list) I decided to press 1 today and ask them to remove me personally from this list.
The attendant told me that it would cost me money in order to be removed from the list. I asked him if he was ?s****ing me?. (Sorry for the language but I was pretty shocked that would have to pay anything to a stranger as low as this one.) He then decided to engage in a profanity laced discussion that concluded with him telling me to ?f*** me and my daughter? in which I responded, ?I hope you have a great day? and hung up.
Since this call I just received another call at 12:02 from ?card services? at 717-203-8889. I again pressed one and asked the attendant to remove me from their list and was hung up.
I?m sure I?ll start getting more and more of these calls since I engaged with the angry man from earlier today. Is there anyway I can keep this harassment from entering my home?
Thank you for your help with this matter.

I see there are 10 pages of scam complaints since Jan 2... just sayin'.. Have some fun with it or don't answer.
At this time I'm getting at least 3-5 calls a week from more than one number... caller ID says 'Bankcard Svcs' or 'Cardmember Svce'.. I don't use voice mail anymore and I am an old phone guy... once in awhile I answer with the three tones whistle that I learned hearing it daily for over 25 years.. and then in my monotone voice... You have reached a wrong number, if you believe this is an error, hang up and dial again. Message one.. then hang up. Usually slows down frequency of repeat calls from that number.. :)

They called again today..I was asleep..had I been awake I would have picked up and hung up. I hate these jerks..wish they could be caught..they have called periodically for two or three years.
