Received a call tonight on my home phone at about 6:05 p.m. EST.  The caller was foreign and I could hear that he was in a call center of some sort.  He started with telling me that I have been chosen to receive a $7000.00 grant our government for no reason other than because I had good credit, no debt and no leans against me.  And that I would only receive this once in a life time opportunity once. He wanted me to stay on line and receive a conformation number and that I needed to do something?  I couldn't really understand him.  I could have just hung up but instead I told him to send whatever he had for me to my address, as he surely must have it since he had (supposedly)  all of this other important information.  I said, OK? and he hung up.  Can you imagine that!  He just wasn't very nice at all.  I am being silly with my final comment, by the way.  Anyway, had his number come through blocked I would not have answered it but it didn't.  I cannot tell you who he was saying he was with.
