the FCC needs to get off it's lazy a** and do something about these idiot scam artist calls! we report it and NOTHING!!!!! ever gets done! how does anyone at the FCC sleep at night knowing they are absolutely useless in helping "joe everydude" reduce the stress we all already have in our lives.

Receiving annoying calls from this number.  Does not leave message and when you answer the caller hangs up

The caller id'd himself as a caller from the Illinois Council of Police.!

How do you stop these calls ,that when you answer they just hang up. I get them  in the evening time.

They are screening to see if someone is at home. Since the number is bogus it is an internet free service where the user has replaced the actual number with this bogus number. You can report it to attorney general and indicate that the number has been calling you and that the need to do a reverse trace on the internet call to get the IP address. The problem here is that they are probably using a smart phone and by doing this they get a new IP Address each time they re-connect to Internet. For someoe to go thru this it tells me this is just not prankster calls but calls to case a home ot other criminal activity like hacking customers who use VoIP phones at home on the same network as the other Internet services in the household. Check your firewalls folks.

Had a call from 708-391-1515 claming to be with the IL State Police Council  ID himself as Time Robins.  Call at 8:40 pm.  I am turning this over to the attorney general and informed him of this.  Not to mention it is rude to call and wake up your sleeping kid.

Do not call ever again.  I live in Peoria  and I never give money over the telephone.

Keep receiving calls from number 708-391-1515, every night for a week now around 8:30, wakes me up every night no one there like the caller hangs up as soon as I answer the phone.

Guy says he's from the police counsel looking for donations for sexually abused children. I look up the "teddy bear program" and cannot find it.

The caller is obviously a scam artist trolling for credit card numbers, using IP telephone service so call gets traced to internet provider.

I get calls from 8885454170 who claims to be Particia from Recovery services. go look up 8885454170 and go to page 6. then read comments from me... very annoyed kid.

Whats a solicitation call, Pat?

We received 2 calls from 708-391-1515 yesterday.  They just hung up - didn't leave a msg.
We've also received calls from just about every state in the U.S. - no msgs left but I'm pretty sure they were solicitation calls.  When you pick up, there's nobody there at first and then a recorded msg from an automated operator comes on.  The Do Not Call List doesn't seem to work.  Is there no way to stop these calls?

When I said Hello, they said they were from "police council" or something.  I asked him to repeat, twice, he sighed heavily and hung up.  I think it's those scam organizations saying they are from a Police org or fraternity and they want money.

I am sooo tired of getting calls from place like this, including Oregon, Washington states. Are they idiots? They don't even try to sell something. They circumvent sceening by putting something like "Cicero" as thier name.

I don't trust the NO NOT CALL list at all. Have place phone numbers on numerous times.

If this is not invasion of privacy, I don't know what is  !!!!!
