called left no message

Did not leave a message.  When I called back they answered "firefighters"  I asked them to take my number off of their list - we'll see...

Wanted donation for some "Injured Police Fund" and wanted the donations left at the door to be picked up. Did not want it mailed. Did not want to give their address.

Most people, I assume, would be compelled to donate after hearing "Injured Police Fund".  In reality, policemen
have much more benefits (medical & financial) than most people when injured at work. They are the last group of people to be asking for help so DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

This is a SCAM TO COLLECT FUNDS and possibly IDENTITY THEFT.

Claims to be from 'American Veterans' calling from a caller ID 'DISCOUNT AUTO M'.  The liar claims to be calling from work soliciting donations for his organization.  Asks to have checks left outside on the door for one of their drivers to pick up.  Will not allow them to be mailed.  When I call back I get either a busy signal or two rings and then a busy signal.  Scam.

I just received a call from this number, and they claimed it was "Maurice" from the Illinois Police fund or something like that.  He asked to confirm my name and I replied "What do you need Maurice?"  He replied "I can see you are being uncooperative, so I will call back later."  Then he hung up on me.  I called back and "Maurice" actually answered.  I told him to not bother calling me back again.  He replied that he got that impression and hung up again.

These wackos just told me while looking for money that they were tax free then they wern't.  Watch out!

Just got a call from these annoying people.  They're soliciting donations but won't clearly explain who they are or what company they're calling from.  The woman who called me who first said her name was Beverly, and then changed it to "um...Sue" at the end of the call had the audacity to argue with me about the DNC list.  Arguing with me isn't going to get you any donations lady.  Whitepages says the phone number listing is for Discount Automotive Marketing Services, but I can't find anything about their shady company.  Anyone know who these idiots are?
