got garbled message from this number 6/16/10. could not identify any part of it.

Said "wrong number have a good day

I received a call from this number just a minute ago.  When I said hello the caller told me that he had the wrong number.  I am not sure how he could know that since he didn't ask my name.  i received an identical call half an hour ago, but it was a woman calling from 219-940-3759 and the caller ID says Sweepstakes Gr (which is all the letters my ID will hold)

At least the third time this person has called and immediately says "wrong number". Tired of it. Calling the State Attorney General on this.

I received the call from 708-833-8044 from Christopher, Bendale (or Vendale) Communications with the same message.  Caller Id shows MITCHELLS COMMU.  I haven't filled out anything either.  Seems like a scam.

I got a call this morning from 708-833-8044 with the same spiel about winning one of 4 prizes. blah blah blah, last time trying to reach you. had my attention for a minute, but something didn't jive. after reading the post glad i didn't waste my time.  Thanks to all the info on this and other sites, and thanks to GOOGLE.

Didn't answer, have no business with this firm.  Caller claims he is from Mitchell Communications, saying I registered and had a prize of one of 4 major appliances waiting for me.  Never registered for anything. Won't take the call, let it go to VM.

Said they had tried several times to reach me and were holding a car for me. This was my last chance to claim the car. Call back to this number directed me to a full mailbox.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Caller ID says Mitchell Commun.  Message is from an African-American man claiming that I've registered for a prize and I have won, but that I must return the call immediately to claim my prize.  I haven't registered for anything so I haven't returned the call to see what it is about.

Anybody getting calls from this phone number?

received 2 calls from 708-833-8044 and both times they said, "Sorry wrong number", what is this?

I have received 2 or 3 messages from Mitchell Communications saying I have won an appliance. I have called them back and left a message. I enter contests all the time, so I'm not sure If their telling the truth or not. They call from 708-833-8044, but when they leave a message, they tell me to call back at a toll-free number 1-877-279-3457 ext. 243 and to ask for David. Their not getting none of my personal info on the phone.
