I'm on the Nationwide do-not-call list, but I got a call from a telemarketer saying I won a car. And that I had entered to win 12-18 months ago, but I did not! This is a Total Scam!! They were asking me about my personal information too. I noticed when I did some searching on the Internet that this number was a scam and the toll free number they left on my answering machine> 877-279-3457< was a scam too.

scammer telling me I had won a car.   Probably a friend of Obama.

Got a phone call from this number when I answered said "whopps I've got the wrong number, sorry" and hung up.  At least he's polite.

A different caller, " Sierra "  , from another number ( 773-358-1470) called this afternoon. Same subject and same call back number. Reported to FCC .

"Tony" strikes again. He left his message on Sunday evening and I reported him to the fcc this morning.

Just like the rest of these posts, Tony called and said I should call him back about my grand prize winnings. He informed me that it was his final attempt to contact me. I was surprised to see this sort of call on a Sunday! I wish this sort of thing would stop!

Same message from Tony stating that we won a car. We don't enter contests. Didn't return call. Deleted msg. Caller ID: 798-833-8727.

I just got  a call from the Tony Mitchell stating we won a car.. I never entered any contest....   Must be another scam....

I received the same message.

Caller left message saying he knew I was on the "Don't Call List" but was calling me because I ok'd it some time back.  I did not.  This must be a scam of some kind.

I recieved the exact same message. WHat happened?

I just received a call from this number 1-708-833-8727 leaving a message that I won a prize from a free car entry.  First clue I did not enter a free car give away.  They stated it was urgent and that it was not a telemarketing call either.  Please be aware this is a scam....

Same as Mainely Rick ... plus he said it "was in my best interest" to return the call ...

My info is exactly like that documented by Mainely Rick.  Just got the same  message off my answering machine

Caller ID'd himself as Tony Mitchell. Said we'd won one of four grand prizes from a contest we'd entered in the last 12-18 months. Also, that this was not a sales or telemarketing call.
