I got a call form a gentleman with a semi-heavy Middle Eastern accent, I had a hard time understanding him, I couldn't make out the company name he kept saying Bankhurst, so anyway I looked it up and sure enough it sounded like a scam same as People Helping People, they use the same tactic to lure you in with a promise of a job opportunity. Then they make you pay to join the group. This is in the 818 area in L.A.

now she is using a new name called Tondra or Tandra. She was hard to understand with strong accent. Same place either Vanhurst or Bankhurst Life and Casualty. Scam!

Received a call from a woman going by the name of Lucille Anderson and a phone number of 631-256-4024
stating she was from Conseco Insurance.  Left a message on my phone machine that she saw my resume and was interested in conducting an interview.  I verified the phone number as an unlisted landline phone.  I've been researching the company Conseco and found that they have subsidiaries named Bankers Life & Casualty plus Colonial Penn Life Insurance Company.  These insurance companies and Conseco aren't insurance companies that should be taken seriously for advancement but to gain experience that can make your resume look good.  Salaries don't commensurate with experience and current and former employees are considerably dissatisfied with the company management and the role management plays in conducting employee satisfaction.  In addition, management gets the pay raises, stipends, and bonuses.  Just FYI.  Be very wary of posting a resume on line.  There are so many "nuts" out there.

I would assume you would not want to take away someones ability to earn a living, I assume you are not a racist against people with an accent, becareful if you respond as someone from your work may read this and I hope no one in your current office is from another country.

this lucille anderson called me at 7:30 in the evening last month and did not leave a voicemail and she did call me again yesterday she said its from bankers life and casualty company she said her manager michael fontan reviewed my resume and find me qualified for a job she was setting an interview with me but i really did not understand what she was calling about because of her accent i had to clarify some words with her for me to understand her. she is offering me a sales job in which i do not know how on earth they know i am interested while in fact it was stated on my resume that i am an engineer and not for sales now i know this is a scam since the manager itself dont even know how to read and interpret things together with the indian agent who called me

I got the same call today. She said that look My resume on monster.com.

I just rcvd a call also, with no message.  On my home and cell number.  I too have posted my resume recently.   A company should ALWAYS leave a message if it is legitimately looking for workers.  Don't you think?

I received a message from Matthew, but only after he called 8 times in a row did he leave a message. This is not a first impression any company should illustrate...

She called my house but no message, she email me too. Sorry not interested with any Sales position at all.

Yep - saw my resume on career builder - such a scam....so not interested...I get so many phone calls from "saw your resume on career builder."  Hey Career Builder - what can you do to stop the annoying phone calls from scam artist?

Same thing Lucille, Bankers life and trust. She found my resume on Yahoo.com. I removed it like 2 years ago. I wont be calling back.

I got the same call yesterday from 713-300-1952.  Lucille Anderson, from Bankers Life & Casualty.  Left a msg. that said she had seen my resume on Monster, and had a career opportunity.  She was very hard to understand, and I had to listen to the msg. 3 times to get the name of the company.  I will not be returning the call

Received a message in broken English from a Lucille Anderson at this number. She said that she is with Bankers Life & Casualty Insurance and saw my resume on CareerBuilder. I am not interested in selling insurance, so I will not be returning her call.

Female named Lucille Anderson from Bankers Life Insurance called regarding my resume she saw online. She did speak with an accent and broken English. I am not interested in sales so I will not be returning her call. In addition, it appears the company provides another name according to the previous posts above (Bankhurst).

Got a call this morning, the message said they were an insurance company calling me about my resume. I don't want to sell insurance!! The lady was not very articulate so I couldn't make out the name of the company for sure -  It sounded like Van Hurst, but I've googled that and every other  possible name but get nothing. So either they're a VERY new company or it's some sort of scam.
