Received a call last night, 3/7/14, saying I won a trip and hotel from Delta Travel. Then they wanted my name to be sure it was spelled correctly, (LOL), how original! They tried persistently.
These parasites will try anything to get your information.

Got a call from these losers at 9 pm. I see this has been going on since at least April 2013, yet the government still hasn't shut them down. Nice to see the FCC enforcing its own laws.

Called two times within a minute, I didn't answer either and they didn't leave a msg.

Called my cell phone twice and left no message. When I called back it had a music recording. I googled the phone number and there are several complaints of solicitors from Delta and from Holliday Inn, both from this number. Their answers were evasive when asked who they are. Seems like some kind of scam operation.

Called at night and left no message.

Called me at 6:00 pm on a Sunday... didn't say anything when I answered.

Number called showing Houston, TX. Woman with a thick Asian accent said she was calling for Direct Buy. I said I'm not interested and she said she wasn't selling anything and they were having an information session. As I started to say not to call again she hung up.

She called about 7PM tonight. Was a resort giving away a trip. Told her not interested, I hung up.
I am on the not call registry.  Don't know how they got my Number.

Called our cell. Also around 8pm. Did not answer.

Someone called with a foreign accent, and I couldn't understand what the company name was. I cut him off, and told him not to call back. Immediate call back, and I told him not to call again. Another immediate call back, and I didn't pick up. No message left from the third call.

Rcvd call at 8:05 didn't answer and no msge left on my cell phone, so annoying.

I'm just curious but has any body else posted their number in a craigslist post I had the same lady call asking me to attend a meeting for discount direct never seen the number before and now I just got a call from the Houston number (first one was a 909 from Seattle ) but I didn't answer and they left no message

It's interesting that so many of the posts here indicate that the call came into a cell number as opposed to a land line.   That was the case for me-- the call came to my cell number at about 8 PM.   I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.   No message was left.

called me after 8pm from Texas, weird accent I couldn't place saying "I am calling from direct buy company..." and some other stuff but I was already pulling the phone away from my face and telling her to go f*** herself so I didn't hear the rest. Ugh.

Rang my cell phone twice and hung up without leaving a message. My phone is on the do not call registry. Based on comments here - I blocked the number.

I thought because it was a local number it was someone I knew that maybe got a new phone and picked up.
Foreign sounding, in a crowded room, low quality sound.
Couldn't make out who she was calling with.
Immediately hung up after she asked me how I was doing without making sure she even had the right person.

They called me at 20:26. I said i don't speak English. I block this caller.

No message was left. I called back an d just rang non stop.  I feel this may be due to applying for jobs online recently.  As this is when I started getting random calls

I bet you all put your name and or phone number on Craigslist like I did.
I bet that's where there getting our numbers from.

8:25 pm, just received a call from this number. Bizarre to say the least. I said "Hello?" The response I received was a foreign man chuckling, then click. First time receiving call from this number to my cell phone. I also live in Los Angeles.

This guy just called me at 8:15 pm trying to sell me something by saying i had won a drawing. . . yay!!! not really. these are all scams!!!  

when i tried to tell him that a guy from his office had just called me an hour ago and that i asked to be removed from the call list, the guy cuts me off ( very rude like ) and when i asked him not to interrupt me, he screamed "shut up!" "shut up!!!" and hung up the phone.

it is illegal for these companies to even call after 8 pm, they can be fined or worse. So now Im on a mission to try and find out what "company" this is to report them.

All i know is they are based out of Huston, tx and if he called me after 8 he is working after 10pm his time.
He should stop harassing people and find a real job.

Also, im not racist or anything but both guys who called were Indian. "thank you, come again"

got a call today from this # on a disposable cell phone that I  just activated today so I could sell something on Craig's list .no one else has the #. SOOO must a been scammed from new listing on C's list!!!

Called Company line at 6:30pm answered no one spoke and then hung up. SCAMMER

Woman called me then started mocking me when I said i wasn't interested LOL

Lamers called 8:45  called back and there voice box is filled
