Received this call from Chad Stevens, explained to me that he was a representative from Williams Cohen and Gray, 8/23/13 said that he demanded a balance from a previous account. He attempted to threaten me by putting a hold on my accounts and was going to be putting liens on all my properties. He further explained that he would report me to the IRS. I explained to them that there was a book keeping error and they needed to check with someone before call me back again cause the next call to them will be my representative.

Have seen them use and deal drugs in the office, both have a criminal record. Robert WIlliams has a FEDERAL conviction of FRAUD and served time in Levenworth for financial crimes. Yet expects others to TRUST him with their money? We wont even get into the fact that he always finds a way to pay employees less commissions than they are due for some reason. Last thing you want to do is send them more business because if they collect it they will " offset" your check with funds they claim you owe them......The owner is a crook was convicted of federal fraud and spent time in FEDERAL prison for it.

How would you hire an attorney to represent you for something you claim they are "not qualified to represent you" and then not pay them? If they are " not qualified" you should not have hired them in the first place ! Besides, last I checked, Mr Williams employed Dave Kuntz to represent him in many matters, business and personal............including divorce..........proof Robert is a crook.

They are not attorneys they are a Collection agency collecting  old zombie debt, don't answer them they have no power. If they threaten to sue you file bankruptcy, they have payment plans now for bankruptcy. They can do no more then you allow them to.

how can we join, they keep bugging our company, from some business in a different city, gave us a name of a so called employee who used to work for us in the end told the guy i needed info. on the vendor collecting he asked for email address and never sent anything, they sound so fake too!

These guys are complete f****ng scam artists, they call and call about b***s*** debts that don't exist. If you want these dumb f**** to call your neighbor and harass them they will with no evidence at all. Tell them somoene owes you money and they are on it like blood sucking leeches.

I got this same call from Kristen (though it sounded like Crystal) but whatever. She DID sound like we were best friends and said she had "a few questions." I wont answer - she called 2 days in a row. The funny thing is, yesterday she used my name and this morning when she left a voicemail, she called me Bradley. I do work with a guy named Brad, but we've never owed any money. She threw out these arbitrary company names like Artsy Media or something, and then one CLOSE to something we've done, but it was only a website and not a company. There's no debt to collect on anything - this is a complete scam.

I used WCG for Business to Business collections for years.  They are not effective.  Do not hire them.  In addition to being completely incapable to getting businesses to pay them, they can't get my bills right.  They try to bill me a fee 25% greater than the fee we agreed upon.  When I collect the amount due myself and collect their collection fee on top of that, they insist on billing me a 25% collection fee on the collection fee I collected.  This is a very poor company.   Refuse to pay it, and you become one of the many people they harass - ineffectively. Do not use this company for your collections.

Low blow, but unfortunately incorrect,  Williams, Cohen and Gray is a collection agency, registered licensed, and bonded in Texas as well as many other states,  we enjoy a clean record, and unfortunately there are EX employees, and attorneys who unjustly feel the need to tarnish our record,  If you owe a debt and our a company , chances our we are contacting you to make payment for a debt legitimately owed our clients,   The publication int he Texas Lawyer involves a dispute for legal fees, where a collection attorney , named David Kuntz, represented Mr Williams, in a Civil Matter , which was not the scope of Mr Kuntz legal expertness.

Do NOT do business with this company. They do not remit to their clients at all and they are a scam. The CEO and Owner, Robert Dane Williams II is a thief and doesn't even pay attorneys' that get him out of felonies in criminal court. Read for yourself.....

I was out of my office on Friday and this morning, Monday, I had a voicemail from an Angela at Williams, Cohen & Gray, she left a message asking me to call her back at 800-398-0830 extension 3102 ... after reading what the rest of you said, I will not be returning the call....

Good luck with that! We just collect the past due bills for our clients. Your legal team can do NOTHING to us. If you have a problem with the client sending you your bill, then contact them.

I can't wait to get your letter! If you would just do your job as a phone jockey and write down messages that are important business matters, then maybe you wouldn't get blasted!

Some Smart Aleck who called himself Ken Smith called us at tried to get us to pay a fake bill from some phone company we got an "automatic billing" from several years ago.  They send out bills that look similar to the regular yellow pages logo etc.  While I was on vacation several years ago one of those fake bills came in an our elderly treasurer paid it without my approval, thinking it was the regular phone ad bill.  The next year they tried to "automatic bill" us, and of course we refused the con.  I told them we demanded the $250.00 or whatever it was they had deceitfully collected from us back, but they never sent it.

This Williams Cohen and Gray must collect dead files and try to collect for themselves.  After Smith called us, I asked him to show me a contract I signed for that ad companies services.  Of course he could not produce it.  Consequently he sent me a threatening fax which I'm going to send on to our legal counsel to see what we can do to see this sham group doesn't continue their crooked dealings.

Bill Foster with this company called my company on Friday, our secretary tried to find out information as to what the call was in regards to and he was VERY rude with her saying that doesn't matter and he wanted to speak with the controller or credit manager.  We have neither title at our company as we are very small. He finally got annoyed by her and hung up.  She had copied the number looked it up on here and found what their company does.  I, the VP, called him back almost immediately and confirmed that they are a company trying to collect debts and informed him we need NO SUCH services.  I also informed him to NOT call back again or he would be reported. Well, he called back again today. I spoke with him again, he gets angry when you do not tell him your name, he also wanted to know how we knew what his company did and I told him, he confirmed that FRIDAY and that he was also told then NOT TO CALL BACK! I told him we do NOT require his service and that he is NOT to call back. He then laughed and hung the phone up.

A caller named I think named Eric, called from William, Cohen, & Grey on numerous occasions. The phone number which he is calling from is (713) 457-0830. He leaves a Claim# 202748, I have not and will not return their calls, I googled them and they are a scam , rip-off agency. Do not call them back, report them to the FBI. They are scam artists..

I had the same caller ID connect me about some bill from some client I did not know and could tell me any information. Gave his name as Cameron Chaston.

Caller calls me and says he want to speak to the controller or president of the company. I am the P and I ask him who he is and he replies that his company helps collect debt for companies like mine in tha area I am in. I ask what area I am in and he pretends there is a bad connection and disconnects!

Had a man named Eddie White call into the business that I work for this afternoon and be extremely abusive.  I told him that the owner was not in and that I would take a message and he was hesitant but after about 2 minutes of "I can only take a message", he finally obliged.  He then got very furious when I asked if this was a collection agency and he demanded that I "just write down what I tell you too!"...I then told him not to get "crass with me" and that was the end of the conversation.  It's loser collection people like this that go way beyond their bounds legally.  I will be sending a letter to the company as well as to the FTC.
