We got a call today from Jason working with Shane Sloan.  I talked with them and told them to call back.  I researched and found this site (Thanks to all you other guys).  They are using a cell phone from Texas:  214-830-6671.  They said the same thing to me as they said to everyone else.

Thank you to all that have posted comments regarding this MMS company. I am a contractor that HAS PAID the few liens against my owner's (client's) property in FULL. The liens have also been recorded in Orange County Florida as "SATISFIED" and these unscrupulous fakes have continued to hammer my vendors with slanderous solicitations for "collections" and throw around scary words like "creditor's committee". THEY ARE LAUGHABLE CHILDREN who obviously can't hold and maintain "real jobs" that earn them a "real" living.

Hey Mancini, Morgan and the rest of you dishonest scammers; why don't you focus your campaign on one of the many 'multi-level-marketing' companies out there. You can get your jollies scamming that way and at least have a product to sell that will support your acting careers.

Thanks for this site - The lein we placed had been paid in full - so I had no use for this person.  I do have another name it is "Michael Ray".  He was my "contact" person.  "Steve Mancinia" was the "investigater" in this case.

One of our colleagues got the call yesterday and alerted us as to the possibility of recouping 66% of what is owed on a project.  As I usually do I turned to Google to see what I could find and found this thread.

These people stole moeny and continue to operate in a state that apparently lets them do so. I have filed complaints with all officials and have been asked to give a sworn statement. It appears they are going after these people behind the sceen and will pounce when they are good and ready with  an abundance of evidence. I suggest all pile on by contacting the district attorney and the attorney general. I almost hope they don't pay between now and then becasue I want to see them go away. BRAVO !!!

STEVE MANCINI WITH MMS CORPORATE INVESTIGATIONS CALLED OUR OFFICE AND SPOKE TO MY BOSS.  HE WANTED TO REPRESENT US REGARDING LIENS WE HAD FILED AGAINST A DALLAS BUILDER AND TRY TO RECOUP MONIES WE LOST.  HE MADE IT ALL SOUND VERY LIGITE.  HE FAXED OVER HIS CONTRACT ON A THURSDAY AND SAID WE HAD TO SIGN IT NOW IF WE WANTED OUR NAMES PUT ON THE DEMAND LETTER GOING OUT ON MONDAY.  COMING FROM A LEGAL BACKGROUND MYSELF, I WAS SUSPICIOUS AND EVEN MORE SO AFTER READING THE CONTRACT.  I IMMEDIATELY STARTED SEARCHING ONLINE FOR INFORMATION REGARDING THIS COMPANY AND HAPPILY FOUND THIS WEBSITE.  IT JUST CONFIRMED ALL MY DOUBTS.  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE.  THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW IT.

"Steve Mancini with MMS Investigation" called our company today. He asked to call him back at: 877-559-2223, ext. 9501.  He asked to speak with the owner of the company who passed it to me to handle.  One, 'google' and I knew to not waste my time. Thanks for the posts people! And, I'm leaving this one so that others will know that now this guy has a toll free number.

Mr.Price called from Corporate Investigations.  They indicated they were "wrapping up a fraud liability investigation" regarding a particular builder/lien judgement we have in place.  He also asked if we had "received the paperwork from his office re: the creditors committee.". Asked us to call back.  I immediately suspected something since they called my home phone #.  They don't even have the brains to do a google search to get the work #!!!!
I searched the # 719-554-9510 MMS (on caller id) and found these postings!   They asked us to return a call to Shane 713-554-9519!

This company find liens and contacts the lien holder and tries to collect.  After they collect they keep the money.  They are a scam!!!!Names to watch out for Jim Brandon, Steve Mancini, Mario (don't know the last name).

MMS and Morganthal Myers & Sterns is the same rip off company!! They Lie about everything, it's a big made up story, they act like they are a investigation company with attorney's on staff "Mr.Myers" A fictional character from what I can tell! is the supposed person in charge!! The loser That I had pleasure in dealing with was some kind of FREAK! let me tell you!! a Mr. Fazio Elise, "Chief investigator" This Character was very TRANSPARENT and has the education of a 8th grader at best, he try's to intimidate you so that he can be in charge of the conversation. This outfit is a complete SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!

Caller from MMS Lien Enforcement gave me his number which did not match even close to what comes up on the caller ID is 281-579-1311. When I "googled" this number and two complaints came up in relation to this number of a collection agency.  They could not give me a clear answer of how they got our information and just said they are working on our case.

Sounds a little fishy to me.......
