5:10PM, on my LAND line, just minutes after I had called ATT re. a "sending you $200" scam call to my CELL phone, so almost thought it could have been real. Tip-off was I had a recording saying 'my phone isn't ringing, so you need to leave a message for me to know you're there' (true, because I have the cordless handset ringer turned off), and they WOULDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE, so typical of your regular scammers/telemarketers.

ALSO, watch out for (800) 218-6157 -- the scam which had called me just 30 minutes. before.  I see it's being discussed on another thread.

Got the same call and called her out on the Caller ID.  She said, no it's AGG. Started to go into her spiel and I hung up.

Received two calls from '' ATT MESSAGING" why would you do business with a company that starts out lying to you before you began to talk to them . Do these crooks think we are that we are  stupid..

Two calls in less than 5 minutes. Told them to Drop Dead.

I picked up and the guy tried to come off as a silly player asking for my wife. Ask him who was calling and he said, Mark. I asked what company this and and he said, "she's my home girl." I told him she is my wife and not his home girl. He hung.

Also got a call from "ATT Messaging."

"ATT Messaging" ... call and hang up.  Different day, same BS.

Just got one.  Addressed me by my first name.  I said who's calling.  He said, Danny the repairman.  I hung up.

Yuck foo, Danny.

This caller called to offer services for inside or outside the house.   When I asked to be removed from their list, he threatened me stating that I needed to protect my family with a bomb shelter they could build.   I asked for a supervisor and he stated that hopefully by the time he called back I will have changed my mind about the bomb shelter and hung up on me.

I got the same thing. Over and over.

Got a call from 714-254-7600 identified as ATT MESSAGING. On 9/3/13 5:13pm. Caller didn't answer just remained on line for about 15 seconds then hung up. Has called before but didn't pick up and caller didn't leave message.

Got the call today, it said "ATT Messaging", and I knew it was a scam call before I answered it. The guy says he was from "AGG" (not ATT like the phone read!) And I asked him to repeat it and he said it was America Going Green...and did his sales pitch. I stopped him telling about the fact he was a scam and I said I know so by the fact that it says something else on my phones' caller ID. And to NOT call here again and to respect the fact I am on the DNC list. He got angry at me and threatened to keep calling me just for saying he was a scam.

Now, would a real professional telemarketer act like that? Noooooo. And does a real and honest company list another company name in caller ID...noooooo.

Got one today.  Now it's ATT Messaging.

Got another one.  When I google "Caller ID PBIS" several other phone numbers, in other area codes, come up.  This is one of those "police association" scams where most of the money goes to the telemarketer, little or none to the Police.  So they're using, or spoofing a variety of numbers in various area codes, trolling for suckers... and no doubt hiding under the exception to the DNC list for "charities"

When I pick up the phone, the caller on the other end hangs up.  Caller ID indicates "SBC Messaging"

Call and hang up.  Caller ID "PBIS"
