Received an unsolicited text from this clown who promotes for some crappy nightclub called Club Ember (also known as Ember Cafe and Music Club) in Anaheim. I guess this dumbass doesn't realize there's a Do-Not-Call Registry for mobile phones and that sending out spam text messages like this is illegal. I doubt he gets a lot of business out of this little advertising scam of his, but he's going to need a lot of money for his lawyer fees when he gets sued for spam texting phones.

Any hungry out of work attorneys out there who can put together a class action suit against Club Ember and George De La Vega?  There are plenty of pissed off people.  FCC complaints aren't worth s***.

Got a hold of the General Manager of the club, his number is (949) 929-3337, I believe this is his cell phone. Spoke with him and asked him to call me back on Tuesday (which is when George De La Vega comes into the offices), to confirm my name is off the distribution list. George will be out of town until Monday and back on tuesday, so I was told there may be the possiblity that I may recieve another text before then. Will repost on Tuesday to say how well this worked out in removing my number from this distribution list.

There are complaints all over the net on this club and George De La Vega.  He has a myspace page, a twitter account, a facebook page, and his own website.  I suggest that everyone on this page leave a message on each, file an FtC complaint and see how much $$ in fine we can rack up on this unethical promoter.  I saw complaints about the way this club handled there tickets insulted customers and didn't refund when people couldn't get in with PREPAID tickets.  Go to the website and judge for yourself or google the club or its promoter.  Now go kick some &(#$&@%&_%@#(&*

I've recieved several "spam" text messages from 714-258-6902. I've also recieved calls from 973-327-7086 (apparently a porn place). I don't know how these people got my number and don't appreciate them texting me or calling me.

I have had this number for nearly 10 years.

I keep getting text messages from Club Ember 714-258-6902.  I don't know them, I don't give out my cell phone number.  And I'm on the do not call list.  I want them stopped.

Did you guys happen to get your phones at Radio Shack in Fullerton?  Because I never got these texts until I upgraded to a new phone at Radio Shack in Fullerton, and I felt like the guy helping me had been taking my number down more than necessary.  The texts started the very next day, so I'm highly suspicious that the staff at that Radio Shack are mishandling people's information.

I've never been to ANY club, much less this one, and I don't have my phone number attached to myspace or anywhere else it could be "farmed" from.

Just left a 1 star Yelp review of the club complaining about this guy. Perhaps if we can't persuade him to quit spamming us, Club Ember can.

I called the 714-991-5101 number given on this site and was told by the person who answered to respond to the original message and ask to be unsubscribed. So I texted 714-396-9714 and 714-258-6902 and told them to STOP.  We'll see what happens.

The person at the 991 number didn't know how they got my number.  I asked her if she's gotten many calls like this, adn she said she's gotten a few.  I suggest that everyone call that number and bombard them with calls.  That may be the best way to get them to stop.

I have also been getting these messages from this number. I wonder how they got my cell phone number in the first place, considering that I am on the national 'do not call' list. I'm not even 18 yet.

I also received this stupid text message.  I've blocked the number, but I think this jerk should definitely be slapped with a law suit for ignoring the do not call registry.

I received two unsolicited texts yesterday and when i turned on my telephone this morning I received any.I have not, will not be visiting this Club Ember- I called the first telephone on there web site and yes it is a recorded message but the second telephone telephone number is a live person named christian that picked up the telephone. I asked for the owner/manager and his name is Steve Elkins. His telephone number is 714 991-5101. Please all who have the time call and harass them as they are harassing us. I am calling my telephone carrier and the better business bureau . If it continues  i will be calling the telephone to file a report. Why do i register on the do not call list if no one follows the rules.
