Now getting calls from several different numbers. They are even saying they are private investigators.

This is a scam do not give them any information! They are not a legitimate company, it is two people working the phones and trying to get money from people for settled and extremely old debts. HANG UP ON THEM IMMEDIATELY and contact the FTC, your Attorney General and the FBI to notify them of this scam. They use a couple of different names 1 being IFS another CSA and I'm sure others as well, but I have 2 messages with two different names, I called a consumer advocacy attorney that researched these liars and they ARE NOT DEBT COLLECTORS, its 2 con artists!!! The call type is not "DEBT COLLECTOR" it is "LIAR" or "THIEVES...

I GUESS IT'S NOT A JOKE.  THEY CALLED THREATENING ME AND I TOLD THEM WRNG # AND HUNG UP ON THEM.  THE NEXT DAY THEY SERVED ME AT WORK.  WHO THE HELL R THESE PEOPLE???

They are debt collectors trying to intimidate over the phone.  Tell them to quit harrassing you - then report their business to the Better Business Burea.  It may not help, but at least you are making them waste their time dealing with the BBB.

I received a call from this number and asked that they send me information regarding the debt owed as I would not make a payment over the phone, this company never sent me anything and has since called all my ex employers as well as my husbands ex wife and all of her family. I had to file for harassment, we'll see what comes of ut
