I've gotten the same phone calls for the last two days in Iowa.  I have called the office of Tom Miller in Des Moines as the phone calls become hostile and they try to use intimidation.  Their phone number comes up on caller ID and "none" or "unavailable".  Today I asked to speak to a supervisor and was given the name of Tom Green along with the # 866-470 7071.  I've passed this information on to the State's Attorney General's office.  I'm sure this is a SCAM and all of my phone numbers are on the DNC list.

They call all the time. This morning they called at 8:30. @sshats.

Joe Didwell from Nelson, Hirsch and Associates calling about payday loan in 2005 from a bank account closed 2-3 years earlier.  Settled payday loan balance through debt mgt company.

They are insane and have to be stopped!!! The guy kept talking over me and would not take me off his calling list. He was exteremely rude and kept telling me what I can and can not say. Nobody taught him the meaning of the word 'No' I am ready to start campain against this company!!!

They call every couple of days.  Won't take NO or TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST for an answer.  They talk over me and I'm forced to hang up.

He's called three consecutive nights, i think the guy must really really really like me.  We talk about what I want to talk about, but he kept wanting to change the subject and for me to take a safety survey. Me, i wanted to talk about my new dog, and the weather in Tampa (which is where he said he was), and my ex boyfriend.  Sir, don't call me if you don't want to chat!!!!!  He was very hard to understand, and I'm still not sure of the name of his business.

I have received at least 15 calls from them.  Each time I ask to be put on their "do not call" list.  The last guy told me to "F--k off" before he hung up.

If you keep getting calls from this number, call 1-800-464-5446, Digitcom Services, Inc. and report them to these people, they own the lines that these idiots are calling from. Tell the customer service rep, that these people are vulgar and rude, etc... And that you want them stopped. The CS rep I just spoke with was very helpful and was happy I called to report these idiots. I hope this helps some of you that like me are sick of these people.

Received a call from this number today. Caller asked for someone specific, but the name he gave was not the name of someone at my number. I politely but firmly told him so. He then demanded to speak to the homeowner. I asked what company he worked for, trying to determine if this was a legitimate line of inquiry. He swore at me and hung up. Caller ID identified calling agency as HLS.

Calls about every day. I don't answer and they don't leave a message. I am on the do not call list. 714 is in calf. so they should be held accountable for violating the do not call laws!!!!

CALLER SAID HIS NAME WAS "RONNIE". SAID HE WAS NOT SELLING ANYTHING, THEN STARTED ASKING IF WE HAD SMOKE ALARMS IN THE HOME. SAID HIS COMPANY WAS "SAFE GUARD". WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR A PHONE NUMBER WHERE I COULD CALL HIM BACK, HE HUNG UP. I HAVE SPOKE TO SEVERAL SOURCES, CONFIRMING THAT THIS IS A SCAM. ONE QUESTION LEADS TO ANOTHER, THEN YOU FIND YOURSELF GIVING HIM PERSONAL INFORMATION, OR EVEN A CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER. HANG UP ON THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE FILTHY DIRT!! DON'T EVEN GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY!!

Call every night for the past 7 nights (February 2010) near 7:00 PM eastern with the smoke detector bit.  Very annoying. HOW DO YOU STOP THIS?

IF YOU CALL THE SAME NUMBER THEY CALLED YOU FROM, YOU WILL GET A MESSAGE THAT TELLS YOU IF YOU PRESS 1 THEY WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THE CALL LIST. I DID SO AND IT REMOVED US FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS, THEN YESTERDAY I GOT THE CALL AGAIN, SO I REPEATED THE PROCEDURE, HOPEFULLY THEY WILL STOP CALLING US. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON THREE OR FOUR TIMES A WEEK FOR OVER A YEAR.

I've been on the do not call list since May last year. These people keep calling my number. It's funny they started calling me AFTER I placed my number on the DNC registry. Indeed they are very stubborn guys. I found my way with them. I have not talked to them even once. When I am not home, they have a pleasure communicating with my voice mail, which they don't do. They never leave any messages - very funny guys.

When I am home and they call, I give them hard time by pushing the small black button on my fax machine and the fax machine starts accepting ONE BIG NOTHING. The big deal is: they hear all that whistling, and buzzing, and all that stuff. Have you ever called a fax number by mistake? If you have, you know what I mean.

It's my turn to give them hard time. If they don't like it, why don't they stop calling me? It's quite easy of a solution. LOL!!!!!!!!

You should definitely contact the police. I just got a call from this number and from reading this forum it seems a lot of us have reported them to the do not call registry.  Perhaps if you call the police and file a complaint, they will take legal action and use the data collected from the do not call registry for once!

Just received a call from a man with an indian accent claiming to be my employer's energy carrier - Freedom of Choice Energy.  I informed him that I wasn't the one who handled the bills and would take his name and number to have someone call him back.  He said they didn't have a phone number so I said, well if you don't have a phone for people to call you back then I highly doubt we would be doing business with you. I hung up.

They call all the time.  Sometimes they want to ask me about fire alarm detectors, sometimes they ask about my auto warranty.  I have called he number back and on 4 seperate occasions pressed "one" to have my number removed from their call list.  It asks for 72 hours to remove it, but the jerks STILL keep calling me.  I don't know what to do.

They called today, man with an Indian accent asked weird questions about smoke detectors. First said, "This is not a sales call, is a community service". Then asked: How many do we have? 1-2? And do we change the batteries every six months? How many fire extinguishers do we have in the house, 1-2? Does our smoke alarm make a loud sound or call the fire department or both? What is our main concern if the police come to the house: Fire, burglary, medical emergency?

I'm on the no call list and this number continues to call. Take me all the list. Requested this from them several times...

This is the sixth call I've had from this cell phone in the past 4-5 months.  I've asked repeatedly to be removed from the call list.

Hope so too..I doubt it..they'll keep calling (hopefully not)till the cows come home

Why do you keep answering it? Just ignore it. And report it if it's constant.

man with indian accent called asking my niece who's babysitting our kids who she was, what her nanme was...how old she was...asked if we had an alarm system.... he said she sounded older than 17..... asked what grade she was in..... on and on and on..... started threatening here because she would not answer.  this is a form of terrorism.  she was so scared she called us and the police. He introduced himself as a represenative of Safeguard.

Repeated calls...different times of day...have ask them twice to stop calling, but to no avail...callers have heavy foreign accents...almost impossible to understand...

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago.  It was the first time getting the call, which now Im annoyed after reading others posts and seeing they never stop calling!  She stated it was not a sales call but was a survey about my homes smoke alarms and fire safety.  Was 5 questions or so then she says that Im now entered into a drawing to win a free home smoke alarm system and she asked for my name.  I said Mary, she asked for the spelling, then never asked for my last name, so Im 100% positive this is legit and a great prize to win ;)  She said she would be calling back tonight if Im a winner and she hopes I win, aww so sweet of her (lol).  Then her last question was "what is your biggest fear in your home, fire, burglers, or both?"  I said I have a very safe home thank you.  Was a strange type of call for sure!  Next time they call, and Im guessing they will, I'll make sure to have alil fun with them! :)

They are dot heads from dot head land.  I prefer to keep them on the line as long as I can as this costs them money. I let them know what I am doing, after all They are sales people and if you can keep them from making money then they will be replaced.  Let the dot heads know that it brings you great joy to know that their children will starve and their mothers will have to w***e them selves for rice.
