no its not my bill is only 3 days past and they keep calling and calling,they called my job and said they were a law office i told them i was gonna call my lawyer and im gonna change my carrier

yes, me too Ive received many calls for several months, saying all the same thing, that I am a suspect and have comitted some kind of fraud, and they are gonna come arrest me and take me to jail, but they cant seem to give me any proof, and Ive looked up on casenet. for my state at it shows nothing. I know this is a scam..  they are website hackers, they steal your info when you go online, to get  a loan. just tell them to stop and they will for a while. but as soon as you go back online to get a payday loan, they will call again.. from all kinds of different numbers.  you wander if they are even here legally? maybe homeland security would be interested in checking these people out?

When are they going to stop everyday they call from a different number using different names and where do they get all the phone numbers from people that live here cannot get those many numbers unless you buy a phone everyday and throw it away and the next day get another one. They cannot even speak english they call my job first officer john smith then i was going to jail within an hour if i did not call them back scammers when will they realize it aint working but the bad part is someone somewhere it worked so they continue i use to get upset and curse them out but now i just say shes not here may i take a mess and get them off the phone but i am so tired of them and be careful they even ask for your payroll dept to tell them thinking they will get a check from without you knowing yeh like a company will pay money just from a phone call.

Just got off the phone with this man. Says he's with Baker and Mckenie and that I owr Cash Advance @00.00. If I do not pay they will have me arrested. Wants me to call Cash Advance immediately, not 1 hour or 30 minutes but right now. Why right now, why the rush? This is 5 times they have called, sometimes a man sometimes a woman. They say that they can't tell me when I got this loan only that it was in the last year.

I HAVE ALSO RECEIVED CALLS THAT I HAVE A LOAN WITH THIS COMPANY.  THEY ARE EXTREMELY NASTY AND SAY THEY WILL ARREST ME OR GO TO MY PLACE OF WORK AND COLLECT THE $ FROM THEM. WON'T GIVE ANY INFO ABOUT THE "LOAN" AND ALSO SAY THERE IS NO SUPERVISOR TO SPEAK TO.  WHY DON'T THEY SEND SOMETHING IN THE MAIL? IF THIS IS A REAL DEBT I WOULD THINK THEY WOULD SEND SOME KIND OF LEGAL PAPERS? CORRECT?

I got a call from "Ray McKenzie".  Definitely didn't sound Irish Irish/American to me.  Sounded Nigerian.  Just another Nigerian scammer.

I got a call from a new number 714-441-8691. This guy says his name is David Parker, and that I need to pay my cousins  loan or I will go to jail. My cousin used me as a reference when he took out a loan, so now Im being harrassed. I contacted my local news and they ran a story about this guy warning people about him. I got this call at work but they had my address of where I live and where I work and my whole SS number. He then said I have to pay them or get put in prison for 3 years. I said I have no loans and nothing in debt. He said yes you do. I then said okay well i don't have the money. He said that fine you will be arrested today at your work and I said go ahead and try good luck getting on property, and hung up. Then I got a call from this number stating he was the police officer and he was coming to arrest me. I then went to work and talked to my lead and went to the mangers and the took to me to Anahiem Pd and they put in a report about it. They guy had all my information and it scared me really bad. I hope they catch him

Just got a call from this 'company'.  I've been getting calls of this type for months now.

John Smith (heavy foreign accent) saying I should call him immediately (at an entirely different number) because there is pending litigation against me and my SS#.  That if I don't return his call all he could do is wish me good luck...  which he does before he hangs up.

This is almost entertaining, but for the fact that They keep calling several times a day.  In the background you can hear other 'John Smiths' making the same phone call.

This call stood out because it showed up on my caller ID as originating in my area code.  These clowns are getting good!

I have been getting these calls too. I don't answer them. Every message though is the same speech... " Ray Mckenzie" always says its his last call ( but it never is) and he needs my attornys info, I'm being sued for $20,000 blah, blah, blah. Then he says I'm going to be arrested at my job. Funny thing is I haven't worked at the place he mentions in over 2 years. I just laugh and hang up. Do they really think we're that stupid that we're going to give them our info.

Calls from 714-876-1789 makes threatening calls, life-threatening calls, on a daily basis.  FTC, FCC, and BBB should investigate the phone company providing service to this number.  The person has Indian (or middle eastern) heavy accent.

I just got the same call for an employee. Last week it was a different employee.  Scam

I have had the same type of calls 4 times before all from different numbers with different area codes. I tried a new method of dealing with him today. Instead of getting mad and yelling at him I just said very nicely "you guys have already tried this scam on me several times already. I know I don't owe anybody any money and I know I'm not going to jail so please give it up and take my name off your list."  He said "ok thank you very much". And he hung up. Go figure.

So I called the 7148761789 number back and tried to talk to this so called "Ray Mckenzie" I told him I would have my atterny contact him then he hangs up. I called back several times and he says wait and see what happens so I said ok . Had a friend call and act like and atterny he gets loud and ignorant and hangs up after she starts in on the fair debt collection act and doing her attorny thing lol he hangs up straight fraud. So I call again and instead of him say the "Mckenzie law firm" he says some other name and says his name is kevin so definitely a fraud report report report. He had info from 3 yrs ago that was no good

Yesterday I recieved a call from the number 714-876-1789. I did not answer the phone but there was a very nasty voicemail saying "Do notdisreguard this message. There has been a case downloaded in my state against me and my SS number. If I do not respond there will be officers at my home and job to arrest me. Good luck and have a blessed day." Really???

I got the same call. He left a threatening voicemail. He claimed that he was going to have someone arrest me this week. This is stolen information from some type of payday loan. If you've ever filled out a form that shops your informatation around for the best "possible match" - then this is really what happens. I could tell by the names "references" he used that this was dated information stolen from somewhere else.

I reported his names and numbers to the FTC. He also uses the name David Foster - but the same voice. They also use a spoofed number 666-136-1847.

I suggest that everyone on this board file an official compaint with the FTC.

I recieved the same call from Ray McKinzey he called my work and said that this is the final call and if I dont respond he will have two officers arrest me cause ive committed fraud out of state . wth? can they really do anything ?

I just got a call from the same guy, he kept yelling at me saying 2 officers would be at my home in the morning and my work to arrest me. Told me I should have 2500 to 3000 handy because that's what my bail would be. He kept yelling and screaming at me. When I asked to speak to anyone else he said I couldn't. Then when I asked to speak to his manager he hung up on me. He kept saying i took out a payday loan which i never have. It was kinda creepy that he has my info and is trying to use it against me. Is there a way to report him?

I received a call from a man with a heavy Middle Eastern Accent too, he said that he was with Anderson Law Firm . Told me that I owed on an outstanding loan and that I needed to pay $1000. now! I did nothing This week my sister in law called me to say that he also contacted her claiming that she was scamming people and that she would be arrested if she didn't pay them back. What a joke! I just received another call from the same guy at a different number. Threatening to take me to court. When will they be stopped???

Supposedly a lawyer named Ray McKenzie which I think is a lie because the guy is foreign has called me several times saying there's a major fraud allegation against me & my social security number. Somehow he has the last 4 digits of my social. there going to come arrest me at my job. Won't give any specific information or an address. Just a scammer

Again with the phone call, Monday, May 2, 2011, threatening with debt and not to disregard this message and "I wish you luck". What is being done about these jerks. There are so many numbers that are being used to scam people. Is anything being done, are the going to these places where the phone calls are being made?
