Sent me a spam text message about a Debt Settlement Program

I get at least one text message a week from 714-916-3684 about debt reduction. Have tried texing back "stop" and calling number back. No one answers and voicemail says they havent set up their voicemail yet.

1-714-916-3684 texts "If you are $10,000 or more in credit dard debt, you qualify...reply with "yes" to be contacted

So this tells me that they get the return reply when I say STOP texting me.

received a text at 8:18 PM PT stating:
If you are $10,000 or more in Credit Card debt, you qualify for our Debt Settlement Program. Reply "YES" to be contacted today with info.

Got a junk text message from this number and charged by Verizon for $4.18. This is outrageous!

Spammers about debt reduction like everyone else. Do not reply! Or your number will be sold to other spammers as a working number. Just like the e-mail unsubscribe below, they confirm and remove you from that "spam" and sell it to others.

I received a text message from this number and have repeatedly requested they stop and they have not!  I receive one a month from this number and want it to stop!  I am on the do not call list!

With a 10-digit number like this you should NEVER reply - it's like clicking "unsubscribe" to a completely unsolicited spam - it just confirms that it's a good number/address.

It works! I've gotten a written response every time, and once got a concerned call from an administrator at the offending organization!

I got the same text message to my personal cell phone just now at 12:10 at night. I'm pissed and will take action tomorrow.

I got an unsolicited text message on Feb 14, 2010 at 5:18PM with the following message:

If you are $10,000 or more in credit card debt, you qualify for our Debt settlement program. Reply "YES" to be contact today with info.

Received a text message today that reads:

I have no credit card debt and don't know the source of this ad.

I reported them to "donotcall.org"  .  
I have responded to this company's messages, telling them I will cause property damage to their business and their transportation.  That's how I roll.  These are not blank threats.  It's a fun way to get back at those pesty companies!  It works for local utility companies too!  When you get screwed, just slash a tire or two of the business that f**ked you over....smash in a store window....take a Sharpie marker and mark the forehead of the owner's kid while she's at school, so when she gets home, her Dad will know I wasn't talking s***.  No violence....just pure manipulation.  IT'S TOTALLY LEGAL!!!!!!!!

The text messages begins with:  Are you str. (I didn't read the rest).  Do not want any text messages from this company.

I tried to file a complaint with the BBB but there's no info on the company so I can't find who to file against.  First time I've received unsolicited telemarketing on my phone since I joined the Do Not Call list (albeit, this is a text and not a call)

Received a text message at 14:47 on 2-15-2010 from 714-916-3684: "If you are $10,000 or more in Credit Card Debt, you qualify for our Debt Settlement Program.  Reply "YES" to be contacted today with info."

Needless to say, I did NOT reply.  And I did not call.  This is the first telemarketing crap I've received ON MY CELL PHONE (that wasn't one of the nuisance ones from AT&T, my provider).  This is crap.  I want these people prosecuted and jailed for harrassment.

Rec'd text from 714 916 3684 Feb 15, 2010, 4:30pm. Costs me 20 cents every time they send a text. I wish I could block them.

I Got the same message yesterday! From Phone # 1-714-916-3051.

I received a text  from the phone 714 916 3684 since I do not text I did not open it.
I did not ask that any information to be text to me.

Checking whois right now, that domain isn't even registered to anyone... wonder what kind of scam this is.

Received a text from 714-916-3674 stating "Dear homeowner, interest rates are at historic lows and now is the time to refinance or modify your loan to 4%. Would you like to hear more? www.usmtginfo.net".
I replied via text and asked to remove my phone # and do not contact me again.  Anything else I can do?
