This is a scam 101, the basic idea is to get you curious enough to send the letter back, and then to get you curious enough to get you to buy more information.  It is all based on numbers... Simply put, imagine that about 10% of the recipients will reply, and imagine that only 1% of the 10% of the people who replied will decide to "invest" moneys in to the thing. Now lets say, we sent out 1 billion of those letters... 100 million of the recipients will reply... and then only (ya only) 1 million of the people will decide to "invest" and lets say that the minimal "investment" is $50... so no we have a $50 million coming in minus spending for the sent letters and booklets... all in all you do not really have to do anything...

Just received one of those letters and it is quite convincing and personal. Decided to carry out a search and came to this site that revealed the truth. How this man got my address I can't imagine. I am only glad he has reminded me that I have talents and special traits that are not common. I will use them my way to hand something to the next generation. If we know this Kevin why don't we follow him up? By they way how successful is he with his old time science? Received my letter today March 23, 2010.

Got the same letter about a secret society from "Katie" Kristen. It did have some pretty convincing personal information about a medical healing I recently had. I know it's a scam, but I've never ordered books or anything, and since they didn't request anymore information than they already had, I just faxed it back. Can that really hurt anything???

HELLO! The Bible has been telling people about their talents, potential, and future for centuries. Guess what. Its no secret.  Jesus paid for your membership to the eternal holy society in his death and by his resurection, and you dont even have to mail or fax anything. Its yours for the recieving (just belive in your heart and confess with your mouth.) Do all the research and background checks you need. You will know for yourself He is the real deal sooner or later. (Hopefull sooner for your sake.) If you really want to see a change in your life, CHRIST is always the long run winner!
Skeptical? I dare you to call out his name, "Jesus". I dare you!

If you recently received a strange letter with no return address in a ’red and blue’ envelope, think twice before responding. Inside, you’ll find a return envelope with the nondescript ’INVITATION PROCESSING’ to an address in Dover, Delaware, not too far from Wilmington, Delaware. While my name and number is ’unlisted’, it wasn’t hard to figure out how they got the information. The very fact a lot of people got these letters is indicative it is indeed a scam. Granted, nothing is said about sending in money. As how they got the information from my profile, its pretty clear that they may have bought an address list from Facebook or has been suggested, ‘Spokeo‘ among other sold lists. While I like Facebook as a site, they have to make money some way, hence all the games like ’Farmville’ and ’Mafia’ and whatever - sad to say a lot of people play this garbage. One time I thought about doing one of those survey things that get passed out on the site, however, I was smart enough to read the ’fine print’ which indicated information would be accessible to interested parties - at that point, I didn’t go any farther. From what I understand from looking on the web, the party sending you this junk will eventually hit one up for $149 for a fifty-six page manuscript. According to one person who did follow through, it didn’t even give the secret. Lets be honest here, the only way one can succeed beyond the one in a million chance of winning a state lottery, is by study and motivation from within. When I ’googled’ the fax number, another complaint site came up and on it is mention of a name called, Nouveau Society. It is alleged the letter is being sent out by a ’Kevin Trudeau’ whom Wikipedia reports has been involved in a lot of felony criminal activity - larceny and credit card fraud. In 1998 he paid over $500,000 for making false claims in his infomercials. Excluding his books, it is alleged he can no longer do infomercials. There is a reason the letter says ’tell no-one’ and the aforementioned information is a good reason why. Yep, it’s a good way to rip off seniors and less knowledgeable individuals. What is even more insulting is his lack of morals in using God’s name in vain. Shame on him! The fax number is an unlisted phone number in Buffalo, New York. My advice, if you were sent this letter, stay clear! Also interesting to note, the return address is in Dover, Delaware - seems the place is where people send their credit card payments to.

I tried to call them and was given the runaraound several times. I then had my bank return the money they stole from me. Please be careful of this man. I now have to change my card. I have been getting mail from them ever since the mistake of  ordering one late night from there infomercial.

I received this stupid letter in the mail, yesterday, from "John." Amazing that they have to cloak themselves in secrecy, and I only had to skim through the letter to notice that it is all too good to be true. When things are "too good to be true" - run 180 degrees in the opposite direction, make this known to others that this is a scam. Frauds and scams work where they present the "carrot" with something being FREE; however, beware, there are all forms of "organizations" trying to scheme people out of their hard-earned money. What is odd is that I am already very contented with my life and the direction it is taking. How are those fraudulent schemers aware of what my "needs" are? The real problem is that there are all kinds of marketing organizations out there that sell people's personal information, such as addresses and phone numbers, plus more! These hucksters that "purchase" people's information and send out such phony letters need to get a life! People receiving those letters should "blow the trumpet" as to what phoniness and hucksterism is out there! I intend to also bring this to the attention of the Better Business Bureau.

FLASHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!$$$$!!!....i received the same letter & faxed it back....received another letter telling me to meet someone very special ....there was a place to be & time to be there. 33 days later i went as told to the particuliar place. there were 2 men &  a baby. there was a woman holding the child. i listened to all they told me and soon recieved a check at my home which i deposited. the check was for 13,333.33....that is thirteen thousand, three hundred & thirty three dollars & 33 cents. no kidding, it was real money deposited into my bank. i soon was meeting these people once a month at different locations around the country and ALWAYS receiving the same amount of money per the check deposit. THIS IS A REAL LIFE TRUE STORY. i am not trying to sell you anything and it did not cost me one red cent. i just had to sign my name in blood in a long-form statement that was typed on a parched green paper of sorts. the paper, when held up to a flourescent light changed colors, vibrating & felt warmer the longer i held it in my hands. each time i met with these folks, the same 3 adults were there with a different child though, so i do not know what the child thing was. i did ask them what was with the child and they told me that i was being looked at by the child to see what my inner soul was saying so to speak, hard to explain this part of the meeting as it was always a secluded location and very dark and the child determined what my feelings were all about. it was like they were wanting to know how i handled the money in my bank, likke did i help others and if so, how did i help those folks. PLEASE listen to me if you want this to happen to urselves. you will not be dissapointed as long as your thoughts are pure, i guess. mine are, so this may help you folks out there who are looking for help concerning ur finances. I now have met with them SEVEN TIMES, and the checks have ALWAYS been good. i do not know what else to say except this must be a gift from OBAMA. i think its the "OBAMA MONEY" thing that we heard about when obama was elected shortly after that this is what some folks were saying.....OBAMA MOINEY, OBAMA MONEE, OBAMA MONEEE!!! i have a feeling that George Soros is behind this because at th last meeting with these people, they asked me who i would vote for in 2012 and i told them tht i could not vote for a two-bit hack of a politician like obama and i was very adament about that. since then, i have recived NO CHECKS, which have bee nabout 8 months now. hope this helps others who might be dithering like obama does on everything in his political life.

Although I am not religious, I do very much believe in God, and in Jesus.  I know for certain that this is true as you say, and I so wish everyone would just believe and have the faith which is all it requires.  Pure faith, absolutely no fear, quiet your mind and connect with your Christ within.  You will feel as if you are younger, more beautiful, a peace and joy you can't even begin to yet describe or understand and all the abundance and love and joy is yours, for the taking.  We create our own destiny, our words and visions all will manifest at some point, so be careful what we say, respect the incredible miracle that life is.  For it is not a fight a battle or struggle, it is a game.  We create that game with what we say and the bible tells us exactly how.  We are capable of all Jesus was, read Emmet Fox "Power Through Constructive Thinking", or even just "The Golden Key" the most powerful three or so pages I have ever read, for in those pages, are truly the "Secrets" of life.  "The Secret" misses this because they don't address the bible and God as they should, without doing so, "their secret" is meaningless.

I also received the letter, but I do not believe that Kevin Trudeau has anything to do with it.  He started a group up with the name GIN which stands  for Global Information Network and from what I understand, it is not a secret society but is open to more then the so called elite. There is a cost involved but for those that are not living from paycheck to paycheck, the cost is not unreasonable.  He talks about the secret society that he was once part of.  From what I understand, he left it because he wasn't liking those things that they were doing to our children.  He gave up riches to attempt to share with us common people that which he thought that we should know.  Yes, I understand that he did some immoral things and ended up in jail.  this does not mean that he is guilty now.  He gave up riches.  From what I understand he could and has in the past lived a very profitable life which he gave up so that he could sleep at night.
I am not claiming that Kevin is an angel or not.  I just think that we should not be so quick to attaack him.  Hopefully I am not wrong.  I choose to give him the benifit of the doubt.
PS.  I innitially thought that this was from Kevin, but after reading a little bit further into the letter, I realized that it was not from his organization.

I don't trust Kevin Treadeau anymore. I had bought several of his books but never had the time to read them. I recently took them to my brother and he read them and told me they were worthless trash. That the information enclosed was information everyone knew!  I had paid quite a bit of money for all of his products and too much time has passed to send any of them back. I have learned a hard lesson from this and this upset me greatly and I am totally disgusted!!! Everyone, at this time of 07/2010 he is STILL on TV with his infomercials, so when you see him - CHANGE THE CHANNEL! Also, pass the word of warning!
