I received a call  from CR legal from  a unknown number the guy name was Johnath Sceppplen. He Left me a message saying my wife took a loan out in 2005 and didn't pay it back. He talked about sending someone to her job & to our house. To serve her with court papers. She couldn't remember if she did or didn't pay it back. After going round and around with  there collections people & legal people We agreed if they would send us paper work showing ware the load was taken out at, the date,  were it origanated from we would send a money order for 490.00 to take care of it.  He said no to that. They could only take credit card or debit card. Here's whats the Scam is.  they somehow revive a company's old files with all your loan information. They are banking on you remember you took a loan out but it's to for back for you to remember if you payed if off. Banking on you don't have any paper work after all this time has past to dispute thim. The payment would be processed through Southern Tier Agency. The company address he gave us..... CR legal New York 3806  checktownga, Ny. 14225

I posted erarlier about these morons. I said i was going to do more investing. Low and behold....she though I was an idiot. She then switched the name of the said person she was calling for to begin with.  they called from 707-200-4545.

I just received 2 calls in about a week from 2 seperate numbers stating the same situation. I requested they send something in writing and it is scary what they say.  Todays number was302-339-4012

I just had the same call from the same number. I talked to the same person and had the same result. A name I have never heard of and said they would take my number off the list.

I called this supposed David whoever of phillips and reed...the number is 347-382-9226. spoke to a supposed woman who sounded like a teenager. I said..I was called and gave her my phone number but not my name...and she pulled up my phone number and said...oh were looking for Mr whoever and I said..you have the wrong number..and she said...ok I will take it out of the system and hopefully you wont get called again...she said do you have any idea where that person is? I said i have no idea. So there you go! Wont deal with these kinds of people...i was ready to put up a fight..but didnt have to....

He's using two more phone numbers as of 12/20/11.  They are:  347-382-9226 - reverse lookup notes it as a cell phone.   Another number 877-296-9028.

i just also got a call from Debra Grant at the 1-866-222-1556 - stating she hadnt signed off on my claim yet and i needed to call her today.....  guess who will not be getting a call today....

I received a call from Mr. Reed also. i thought it was a scam when he told me why he was calling. But then i got served court papers 3 weeks ago and my attorney told me that mr reed was an attorney for bmg financial one of the major lending companies. Now my attorney told me i should have resolved it before it got this far now i have to go to court for it. also they sent a copy of the bank transaction to my attorney that shows the transaction that took place.  With this documentation and the fact that they tried to resolve it with me out of court, my attorney told me im pretty much screwed and says he hope they will settle with me. Now this is going to cost me 5 times as much.

In the meantime, I received another call from a different collection office who said they were representing the same payday loan. I don't know who to believe but ended up paying the second one and cancelling the first one. The second one is CR Legal Services and a David Young who is fighting with Debra Grant claiming they are reporting them. What a mess! I don't know who to believe, lord I hope I paid the right company

Well this so called debt collector has taken over 600.00 out of my account. I just found out this guy scammed me. I do not know who to believe anymore. Another debt collector trying to collect the same debt. He called trying to get the full amount. I have no more money to give away. I have all my statements, emails, and the so called agreement letter. How do I get my money back? Where do I began?

I have also received the calls and threats.  I made 1 payment before I did my research, but no more.  They continue to harass me every weekl wanting the remaining payment.  I traced the address to a UPS Store in Lockford NY.  I have contacted The UPS Store and waiting to hear back from the manager.  I know the manager can not do anything but atleast he will be aware of his customer.  The address I have is 5677 s transit rd lockford ny 14094.

Someone called pretending to an attorney from the law office of phillips & reed talking about I owe a payday loan.

Well the lady is still calling me about money put tracer on phone when she calls it comes back the call cannot be traced, she is even calling my family in another state, the name is morrison and reed address is 5677 s. transit road suite 297  lockport new york 14094

The number I have for these people is 1-866-222-1556, and I have prove that I paid I was also threatened with jail.

i ws online today looking at this information and i got the call from some man and it came from an unknown number and i asked for his name and he said you promised to pay anothr 150.00 on 03/25/2011 and you didnt...but wouldnt give his name and address...i hung up

i didnt give any information either but i didn't think about that before i agreed to what he was saying and at one point he told me to f... myself and hung up and then i called back and a lady answered the phone.

i am a single parent of 3 and they threaten me every day and tell me i am going to jail and call with rude attitudes.Reading this wesite i see its not hard toget people personal information and run with it. I eventried to call the number back and since they got my 400.00 they dont answer any more.

i just got hit for 400.00 dollars and pd it because i didnt want to go to jail and i did do a payday loan in 2009 but i recll paying them and last year i got this call. they dropped from 1900.00 to 763.00 with no problem

Trust all the posts, these guys are bogus Im a former police officer and had made a few calls, after reciving the address from them it was false. Dont let them scare you out of your money from any payday loan, if you havent repaid the internet loan try to contact the payday loan company your self. If you havent heard from the company yourself and have not gotten paper work in refference of non-payment you will have to wait to see if a lagitament company contacts you.

anyone receiving threats from this number should report it to the nys attorney general's office by calling 716-853-8404.  This is not a law office calling you, just a guy posing as a lawyer to threaten you. you cannot be arrested or have criminal charges filed against you for a loan, it's just a scare tactic.

I didn't get the opportunity to speak with the enforcer due to the fact their office is closed! I refuse to send a dime until I find out the truth! I called his 1-877 number!!!!
