They called me talking about some if I didn't pay this debt, that I was going to be sent for litagation and be facing charges.  At first I was skeptical but against all advice they somehow scared me into paying the debt. Irregardless of what they say like they were going to press charges on you, send the sheriffs to your house. I had to borrow money and I knew better but because I didn't want it to mess up a trip I believed them without triple checking like I always do. It was just too much of a coincidence because I was trying to fix everything else that these people were coming after me.  I suggest if they call you just make them send all that info in writing first if they refuse tell them you will take your chances 9 times out of 10 they either will work with you or leave you alone. Report any harrassment and never let them back you into a corner. I have learned my lesson hopefully this will help someone else to not make the same mistake that I did. Only great thing is the debt is all said and done but not without messing up some other plans

Hello i have a question, so they never served you at all, bc i got a clal and they said they were going to serve me and i got all freaked out. bc i never got a message or a letter in the mail and i figured that is what they should do. any advice.

I received a call from a Mr Reid who is nothing but a courier, called my place of employment to tell me to be at work between the hours of 10am & 2pm to be served a letter from Carey Law Firm 800-649-8440.  right off the bat I knew this was some debt collector using illegal tactics to get me to respond.  I never received any correspondence from this company and they have the nerve to threaten me with legal papers??? Please!!! I checked with the local courts in my county and there are no judgements on file.  Sad to say, I have been served with judgements years ago!! So I know how the process works Legally!!! Something similar happened to my mother where a debt collector was harrassing her, verbally abusing her  I told her to immedately file a complaint with the FTC, the Attorney Generals office where the company is located because what that person did was against the law.  I don't care that these scumbags work on commission only to get a paycheck, they need to follow the law.

Got a message to call this numer, it was an attorney from I don't know what Law firm, telling that he was going to prosecute me for internet fraud and transfer bank to bank????? I am not calling back since I never done that... maybe is a scam
