Got a call...did a reverse lookup and it is a telemarketer. There is a database that came up with the prefixes they are using in that area. Didnt get buisness name...wasnt paying 5 bux.

My husband and I both received phone calls from this number today.  They didnt leave a message.  When I called it back it said to push 1 to get your number removed from this call list.  I didnt do anything, just hung up.  It came up from Myerstown, PA

They called and left a message from that number. The message said "your home" . It was a recorded kinda thing. I called them back and it said press any number to get off the list

Just called me at 8:11 didn't answer

Just got a call, I live in an area with that area code but do not know that number and no voicemail was left

Have no idea who this is because they don't leave messages

Just answered this call. It was an auto message saying break-ins happen every 9 minutes and asking if they could put a sign in my yard about a home security system. Push 1 to get more information about the home security system, press 2 to be placed on the do not call list.
I pushed 2.

Got the call at 1:45 pm I live in PA, and im about 20 min. from Lancaster so I answered it. I thought it might be the Dr's call center with an appointment reminder or something similar.

I said hello a few times and it was nothing but dead air. If I find anything else out, ill let you guys know. Also if someone comes up with an address in PA for this number and its not too far, ill go check it out.

According to previous posters here, its a robo call which means it could literally be anywhere because with internet calling you can pick any number prefix (area code) you want.

They get your info and use it for idenity theft. Do not answer their calls. Do not leave your name on you voice mail. They use it to get your name and then later call and ask for you. They come up with some fake reason to get address and name. After that, you're done. They go to facebook get your pic and open accounts in your name. Total losers. Nobody offers free security systems. Come on, now.

They call you and say you're getting a "free" security system. Now let me think.....why would someone want to install a 3k security system for free? The answer? Because they're scam artists. Do not answer their calls. Do not fall for the scam. They get your info and ship it off to Nigeria for scammers to open credit in your name, etc. Send it right to VM when they call and do NOT leave your name...either. Just say, "Sorry I missed your call. Leave me a message." They get ppl's names from VM and then use it to call and ask for "John, Larry, etc." So they're smart. But not that freaking smart.

Got a call from them yesterday too... didn't answer .... no vm either

I live in Pa didn't know the number. My X has a habit of putting people up to call me and say I owe money to a credit card company. Been to the police twice don't trust my X like I don't trust a rattlesnake.

Got call from this number / didn't answer.  No message left.  Must not have been very important.

Got a call on my brand new cell phone with a brand new number from this number. I haven't even had a chance to give the new number to family or friends.

Got a call from this number on the 10th.  Did not answer, and no voice mail was left. Not two minutes later my boyfriends phone was called by a "toll free" number and it was FBI scammer stating that my neighbors are getting burglarized, as well as telemarketing for home security.  Too coincidental for my liking.

Did not answer, but I am getting sick of the spam phone calls.
To set up your security system at your home please dial...gunsforyou (486) 736-7968...and stop calling my number, whoever the spammer you are.

Selling a security system. I gave them some information on a dorment security system in my home. While setting up to schedule technician to install new system the gentlemen came back and said that he could not verify my ownership of my home.  He then said let me give this to my manager and call you back.  I attempted to return the call today and I got a automated voice instructing me on how to be remove from a(?) list.  Very uncomfortable with this call.  I want to report it to the authorities.

Keep getting calls from this number at home on cell and at my work number. I think they are stealing numbers from my cell as some friends say they have been getting these calls also.

Folks, be wary.  This number (along with a few others) have been breaching the CEO of Paypal's credit card account.  These crooks are going on massive shopping sprees at the expense of our ignorance.  We must come together in these times rather than bicker at the trolls who intend to separate us.  I have recently launched a petition against this kind of mal-intent and would love for your support.  With your help we can bring down these Cowards.  I am not allowed to post a link here due to security purposes but I urge you to e-mail me at Rosecrans_Doug@NortonSecurity.com and I will be happy to provide you with a secured link.

UPDATE:  I just woke up this morning with a text from...guess who?....the same number! The text message read "We have been attempting to contact you without success.  Please call us back or reply with "UNSURBSCRIBE" to be removed from our mailing list"   has anybody else received a similar message?  This has to be illegal...so sick of this i just don't know what to do

Got a call from this number the other day...not sure what the big deal is here folks.  They told me they were a non profit that was established to help the children of those impacted by the Toledo War (circa 1835) on the Michigan/Ohio border.  I'm not sure how any of your heartless individuals couldn't give to a cause like that.

Yeah, I've been getting these calls for DAYS. If I'm charged with something, I'm going to be pissed. I was thinking it might be Comcast/xfinity cable giving out addresses and/or phone numbers. Had some guy a few weeks back knock on my door and ask about my internet. Dressed in  Comcast uniform but no name tag. Being the idiot I am, I gave him my number. :( but I'm not pointing fingers. Any one else have the same cable/internet provider? Any similar stories perhaps?
