A man called 7:30pm est time asking for my husband on my cell number. Told him this is his wife and he said try back later. I called back to find out who it is and the man continued to be abrupt and not answer who he is or with and doesn't answer phone back as a business but just hello and he then proceeded to tell me that he will notify authorities if I continue to call back. Asked for supervisor since it has to be a business involved. Continued to hang up after I called for more info. Don't appreciate the smart comments of telling me have a better day. This is my cell phone number not home or work and don't appreciate calls from numbers or anyone that doesn't identify themselves nor threats! All I got was name is Mike if that's true.

Thank goodness i read these posts before answering their calls...apparently, they are just getting started on me. They called twice - back to back, but left no message. I have my ear-piercing whistle ready for the next call...third time's a charm. Haha

Same thing. No message left due to new laws they stated. First guy was completely rude. Second guy I believe name was Albert was very nice and helpful.

According to the State Police if anyone calling your home Will not say who they are and who they work for you are to hang up on them .There is no such laws allowing them to not say who they work for or what they are calling about.Never give your work number out....And don't be dum and make prank calls to them you can be charged for that. Call your phone company and tell them you a getting calls from someone Will not tell you any info they can block the number from getting through.Be a grownup and don't put yourself under there level.

just received a phone call from this number.  would not tell me who and where they are calling from.  they wanted to speak to my husband and I asked where she was calling from.  the lady said its personal.  very rude and said we are speaking with your husband from another line.  if you are speaking with my husband on the other line then WHY call me at work?  since, they did not tell me where   they are calling from I googled the # to find out.  the bills they are talking about are paid from insurance company.

This number called me at work even after I requested them to not call me at work.  If this is happening to anyone else they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Report them to the better business bureau at once!  I did.

Keep getting calls from this number.  My daughter, who is 15, gets calls on her cell from this number.  When she asked what this was concerning, a man named Joe said he couldn't tell her but would try to call later.  They never leave a message and i can't find a way to block this number.

This number calls a friend of mine and says nothing, When he calls them back they get very threatening without giving any info as to who they are. Some type of scam. We are trying to get to the bottome of  the situation via the FCC.

This number 717-702-2004 has been calling me months. They refuse to telI me whst company they are and are insanely rude. I spoke to him once and I asked what he was calling in regards to after he asked for me and he said very rudely " I said this is a private matter. I would think you would comprehend that" so I hung up. Then yesterday I had my mom answered and he was so rude to her. She was nice to him just telling him to stop harassing her child and he freaked out saying "she is over 18 she is not a child! Stop prying into her business! I don't pry into my kids business! And this call is recorded and you are breaking the law by prying into your child's business" She told him she pays the phone bill she will speak to who she pleases and clearly he doesn't know the laws because they are breaking the law by recording conversations with out initially stating they are recording it. So please everyone tell them that.

The #called me at work

They wants me to pay a bill that already had been taken care of with health provider.  Would not call the health provider to check my story.  There name were Mr Smith, Mike.... and a Ladies voice.

I recalled they and mike "the manager" said I made a racial slurr to his employee.  He would review the tapes.  Never in my life have I uttered a racial comment.

They would hang-up to end conversations.

Receives the call from Mike Sims regarding an unpaid urology bill...We are full aware the payment has not been paid in full and are attempting to do so, but this Mike Sims told us he was going to tell our Dr. that we refuse to pay...We never told him that and as far as I am concerned that is a terrioristic threat to me personally.
I am reporting him, but from what I have read it hasn't done any good yet.

this number called me, asked for me by name, I told them it was me and then they hung up. I called back from a different phone and asked what company I called, they asked who I was for which I didn't asked and asked them what company it was. They hung up on me. I have no clue who they are or what they want from me.

he called me and i tryed to find out who he was and what company he was with he would not answer me he got rude and just wanted to know if it was me and got upset when i didn't tell him. he would tell me what he wanted.he said his name was Joe Miller.

I have been receiving phone calls from this number for the past three weeks.  At first I answered the phone, and the "person" asked my social security number, etc.  I told him I would not give that information over the phone, to which he started berating me calling me a dumb a** "c---"...Now, I no longer answer, but they call at least 10 plus times a day, never leaving a message.  I don't even know what or why they are calling.

This guy calls and asks for my wife,. She is injured and on medication. I ask why, he sas it is a "Private matter". I give her the phone with a warning to be careful, he then repeatedly asks her for her social. She is way smarter than that. He refuses to identify himself or his company. He eventually hangs up. I call them back, and they refuse to identify, "We do several things here" we need the number to know why we called".
Ok, that might make sense, but I am not in a cooperative mood, so I will file a police report.

They're about rude and I know mine is over a medical bill that's in dispute w/ insurance - their attitude def makes me want to get right on paying that.... lol

I also forgot to mention that some of the bills that he's been trying to collect on were paid months ago but he refuses to update his records.

Mike Simms is one of the most rude individuals whom I have ever spoken to in my entire life.  I will be reporting him to the company that hired him and I am currently researching my options as to which federal organizations monitor activities from scumbags like him.  He must be a very frustrated, unhappy individual to conduct himself in the manner in which he does.
