This number called and left me a voicemail saying my first and last name.  When i called back, the number identified itself as American Educational Services and wanted an account number, which I do not have.

A.E.S. is a student loan servicer & gaurntor. The # belongs to the default prevention departmnet. The job of this department is to help people with past due accounts bring the account current by making payment agreements or setting up deferments and forbearences.
A.E.S. uses multipule outside companys to find telephone numbers. Sometimes a phone is called because the person called & the person wanted shares a same name.

I received a call from this number but no one would talk or respond and hung up after 16 seconds.

This number has been calling me everyday even Saturday mornings early. No one says anythnig if I answer and they never leave a message. I have a student loan through AES but have never made a late payment or missed a month.

These Billion dollar companies are nothing but snakes. Check it, They say you need an degree to get a good paying job so that you can lIVE at lease a simple life. Such as an apartment, new or used car, a little bit of money in your account. All we need/want as people is to just live a simple life,that's all; the basic. NOW they give us a loan for thousand of dollar of money we never or every see in our life. AND these Billions dollar companies KNOWS that you don't have thousand of dollars or any assets in the first place. BUT Yet these demons will loan you money off the idea that the school is selling you 40% chance of a Career Placement. Then charge you interest on money that is not REAL. Putting your name such as "Another B. Sucker" and adding zeros based on your loan amount, then charge you HIGH interest on fake money, that is so illegal!!. BUT peep the science. IF you don't pay your bills because you can't, The companies will get there money anyway from a tax write off. THEN they will sale the bill to a second collection party who will hunt you down to get that money that was already paid to first party company by the Government.

Received several calls from this number over the last couple of months and when I answered it no one was there then a recording came on and could not understand a word that was being said, it sounded like a small toddler.  Hung up the phone and still getting these calls.  Have no clue who it is but I have had my phone number just over 6 months and get all kinds of calls for the individuals who used to have the number why doesn't the individual verify the number before wasting my minutes on my phone as it is a pre-pay phone so that I do not have an unpaid bill.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and hangs up. How do I get it to stop.

This number has called me 3 times in 2 days and when I answer no one will talk. I dont know why they keep calling me.

This number consistently calls my house although the person they're looking for does not and has not ever been associated with my number. I work from home and have to listen to them keep ringing but never leave a message and the automated system forces me to call them instead of them actually answering when they're bothering me.

I spoke with a person from your company and was told I wasn't eligble for any type of plan. I was on previously in forbearance, but have not recovered from Katrina and cancer illness financial problems. I'm  sixty-three years old TODAY, retired, and there NO money in my limited budget to make the scheduled monthly payments.

Wow, I haven't made a payment in 5 years.  This s*** is almost off my credit record!  This is the absolute first time they've ever called me.  Yep, I'm about to default, and I'm not worried.

This call definitely originated from the Child Molestors at AES, regarding a loan I'm about to default on.  Added it to the block list on my phone, and I'll never get a call from this number again (=

If you're in debt, get a Windows-based smartphone, like a Motorola Q or a BlackJack.  Buy a $9 software from Efficasoft called SmartBlock.  You can put your creditors & unwanted callers on SmartBlock's "Black List", and poof - you'll never get a call again from them.  You might get a v-Mail, but it's better to delete a v-Mail than talk to a creditor.  In 7-10 years, your debt will be wiped clean off your credit report.  I'm already 4 years along, and creditors rarely ever leave v-Mails - Well, Sallie Mae does!

I have received phone calls from this company numerous times a day and it doesn't matter what time it is.  I receive phone calls at my work number as well.  I have told them repeatedly that I do not have a loan through them that I had taken it from someone else.  They obviously do not understand this and don't get the clue to take my number off their list.  It has become very annoying.  I have even threatened them with law suits on harrassing me with so many calls, but apparently that doesn't bother them either.  Who do I need to talk to in order to get this stopped.

I received a call and immediately called back a couple of weeks ago.  When I challenged the call since my loans are not through them, they were surprised that I was not in their system and that the call was in error.  They wanted my SS number which I would not provide until they were able to offer me more information as to WHY I was being contacted.  So I gave him my phone number, yes, the one they called and it "wasn't in their system" which obviously is strange.  He said they must have called in error...right. So today, 3/18/08 I receive yet another call from them stating how urgent my matter is...ridiculous.

Our computer will call 1 more time after we are told it is a wrong #. I a person see the number and chooses not to pick up, we cannot invalidate the # the second time to remove the phone # from our system.

They call my house number 15 times a day.  I have told them time and time again the person they are calling for no longer lives at this number and they assure me they will remove the number but I still get calls at least 10 times per day.  They wake me up in the morning and they put me to sleep.  Now they are calling my cell phone.  When will it ever stop.

I have asked these people several times to stop calling my phone because the person they are looking for no longer has the number. It belongs to me. They seem to refuse to remove my number out of their system and they continue to call. I am really getting sick of the phone calls. I am fixing to file a law suit for harrassing phone calls and they do not seem to understand that. They are trying to collect on a student loan for a woman with the name Alexis and it is really frustrating for me when they have been asked to remove the number from their system and they have not done so. If there is anything youj can do to help that would be great.

This is a number for American Education Systems, letting me know that I'm late on my student loans.  This is a valid number, as I do have a loan with them and I am late on my payment.
