Just happened to me. Question is: how do they know the specifics of a Police report? Person named the possible perp that may have vandalized my car (which was on the report). Asked if anything was stolen from the car.

I got a two calls from this number within 24 minutes. I also called the number and it rings twice and then says it's not a working number. I went on intelius and got a report on the number and it said Leadership Training from Brooklyn NY landline, Verizon. But I also had a police report about my phone snatched out of my hand and I chased the kid and got it back. The police came and filed a report. It's weird all of you say it is about the NYPD.

Glad I researched this number. Identity theft is a bi*** and I lost my wallet but, reported everything. I have Equidax constantly checking my credit report. I'm good!

but when arrested, they told me that was the number they use to call people

I got a call from this number asking if any thing is stolen from my car. I filed a complaint about window break-in of my car in the summer. The person quickly put the phone down with out telling any thing. Tried to redial and it says number not in service
