They claim that Bank of America nominated P&B Capital Group for Small Business of the Year, and that they received a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Assembly for their contributions to the community. However, the local Better Business Bureau gives them a rating of F based on 161 complaints. They have been sued in federal court 12 times in the past year for allegedly violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
