I get this number calling day and night to my cell AND my land line. I never pick up, but they leave a message that it's "an important message about your Time Warner Cable service."

I believe they are telemarketers out of Brooklyn, and they are annoying. I don't remember ever "opting in" to these calls and need to figure out how to block them.

i actually just spoke to Time Warner Cable a few days ago and i know i'm up to date on my account but i just received 5 calls in a row from this trolling number

best think on the iphone.... "block caller"  and that's what I did. they called too many time for me to deal with them.... i'm not even a TWC customer anymore

I keep getting a call from this number with no messages.  At first I thought it might be my nephew in the Bronx but then checked this site.  I'm moving to Austin next month and the apartment  complex supplies Time Warner cable as part of the deal.  Why doesn't Time Warner use a 1-800 number for out of state calls if they're such a big company?  Sounds suspicious to me.

They will probably try to push & pressure you into upgrading your service. We didn't even have ours installed yet & some guy called from this # to try & pressure us into faster internet! He was rude & beyond pushy!! I think it was because we only got the $14.99 internet special, with no phone or tv service bundle & we also have our own modem/router. Because we did already have an install appointment & an account # , customer service was able to track the pushy sales guy that called us & we were able to file a formal complaint against him.

This number is definitely an affiliate of Time Warner, but not local. It is their sales (telemarketing) number based in NY. We had a scheduled internet installation from Time Warner. Everything was already set up & the appointment confirmed. Then, last night we get a call from this # with some PUSHY sales guy telling us that the internet speed we had selected would not be adequate for us and we needed to upgrade prior to the installation. Excuse me.... WHAT!!?? He was very persistent in telling both myself & my husband that we needed the top priced internet package - I actually had to tell him to hush so I could speak! I called Time Warner customer service & I found out that if you are a new (with an install appt.) or existing TW customer, they can see on your account when these sales people contact you. They were able to see this guy's employee code & I was able to file a formal complaint against him. Also, I won't be getting any more calls from this #.

This IS time warner cable, but not spma/scam/telemarketing.
If you have TWC, and there was an outage in your area, they will call you back to tell you cable is back on.
Simple short recorded message, which is why there's nothing on voicemail.

i had the same issue today they called me 4 times in a row and thats poor customer service why is automated stuff taking over the world don't real pple exist on the other end of the line anymore or is it just an excuse not to pay people so they can live

I just got 3 calls from them in a row. There is not even a robot voice on the other end, just blatant silence and each time I hang up it calls back immediately after. Shame on Time Warner, awful company.

Received automated call from this number- asked me to confirm my identity. Then asked for my credit card number. Which I did NOT do. Sounds like some fraud situation with someone using a number that identifies in caller ID from Time Warner. but all numbers I have used from Time Warner in the past has been with the 212 area code.

An automated call from time Warner cable. They may call for a number of reasons but in my case it was because I had forgotten to send in my payment so I'm glad they contacted me.

I cancelled my time warner cable 3 days ago, the same day I had my equipment dropped off I got a call from their collections department even though i had no outstanding bill and the final bill wasnt due until early next month. by far the worst I've ever had.
I started getting calls from this today and returdned a call after the 3rd call. It was time warner . they had no idea why they were calling me . Im so glad i switched from them

It's from Time Warner Cable; likely New York; likely technical support department.

It's Time Warner Cable because I just called it back and that's who it was...but of course it was the usual recording that picked up, and press a number for this department or that department, so I hung up.  :/

I have TW, but I did not answer the call from this number. I do not have an appt. pending with them so I don't know what they were calling for.

I started receiving calls from this number on my office phone approx. 2 weeks ago.  I get one call a day and as soon as I would answer the number would disappear from my caller id.  I was finally able to obtain the number today and I googled the number.  Extremely annoying as there is never anyone on the line and no messages left.  If this it Time Warner Cable out of New York they are definitely reaching a wrong number as my office is located in Maryland!!!

Mother F****r.. TWC SUCKS AS HELL..keep calling me and telling me all kinds of BSs. This is harrassment!!!
