very poor English-- almost impossible to understand.  Not an accent, just incredibly sloppy diction--perhaps the worst I've ever heard. I had to ask her to speak very slowly.  She told me that she called to say that this was to lower my Con Edison rates by 10%.

This number keeps calling me and does not leave any message - i tried returning the call a few times - but keep getting a busy signal - i do not know this person and need them to stop calling me - especially when i'm at work - very annoying...

I got a call 2 times today. 1st time it was a solicitation call, 2nd time I got a hang up

i got a call today, June 2, 2011 from the number, when i said hello no answer responded. i immediately hung up and called the number back and it was busy.

Two calls this morning an hour apart. No message. Busy on callback, or a machine "this caller is not accepting calls".

I rec'd a call from this number 3x!!!, then when I answer, the other party hangs up. I am in the "Do not call" list as well. Its very annoying!

I'm new to this and just decided to look-up this phone number and see if it registered to anyone.  Admittedly, I did participate in an online survey for the first time every this morning so I'm suspecting now having discovered this board, that this has something to do with it.

I registered with a no call list and i still get calls

1st call -solicited for money for a school/education.
2nd call got a hang up.

Keeps calling, but leaves no message. I hear that it's a on-line education scam.

I also recieved a call where I told some woman that spoke very poor english to take me off her list.  I am due to graduate from a B.A. program at an acredited program and they keep calling asking me to enroll in on-line degree programs.  If you are following the news on these programs they are aimed at students that can't get into junior colleges because of poor grades, and then load them up with debt.  If you have read any of my other entries I recently got in touch with my congressman's office and spoke to him about this site and how the FTC has created a loophole for these scammers.  You all have to do the same and contact your US congressman's office and get him to do something.  If you look up some of the web sites connected to some of these scammers you will find that there are fraud alerts on them: use the search term url: and then the name of the site to see if there is a fraud alert.
You can also alert the posatal inspectors because they are investigating complaints of scams coming from phone calls and internet messages.
