Ryan Scott keeps calling me as well. No idea of what he is looking for except that he told me the Sheriff will be at my house in the morning. I asked for the information on the who, what, why and where and he told me that by law he was not allowed to give me the information because it was confidential, even though he had a ton of my personal info to begin with. DONT PAY A DIME, SCAM SCAM SCAM. What a piece of crap.
He called me 4 months ago saying he was from a different company. Can barely understand the curry eating do***ebag but his name is Ryan Scott.

i say we all start calling back the number and see how they like it!!! ive been getting the same bs calls for 5 days now  and i called them out on thier bs. so now im having everyone i kno call the number and see how they like it. i put it all over facebook and in my school and sisters schools and we go to universities and high school. i posted it on twitter. its time for pay back.

I received my first call at nearly midnight last night.  Really shook me up.  Ironically I had just applied for a payday loan on line.  Something must be able to be done about these people.  What they are doing is totally illegal.  I dont owe them any money but even if I did, these tactics would be illegal.  What can we do.  I will call the attorney general's office on Monday.

Steve Brown called our work number for my wife Nancy.  Caller ID said "name unknown" and the number was 21340011466.  Interesting cause that is not a valid number that I know of.  Indian accent, Left message for her to call him back at 718-8416472.  Said it was a legal case and the firm address is 42 Broadway St. , fifth floor, New York, NY 10004.  Had the same type calls over a year ago and they finally quit calling when I told them that we are not paying.  They tried the "we will download a warrant and the police will arrest you" threat.  They are a scam.  Don't admit anything or pay them anything or give them any information.  Sad thing is that their scam must work, cause they are still at it.

A man keeps calling me and my work leaving nasty messages that you can barely understand because he can't even speak clear English. Not only can he not speak clear English but he changes his name several times to simple common American names like, Jay Green or Mike Smith. I called the number back he left with his threatening message and he asked for my SS# which I refused to give to him so he started screaming saying he was from B & C Law office (or at least I think that is what he said!) I told him I don't give a crap where he was calling from and if he continued to harass me or my HR department at work he was the one who would need an attorney and he hung up on me.

All of these sound familiar....I have received calls from the same people---Ryan Scott this week and the Michael Peterson before now...they call and leave threatening messages...they say I owe money that I do not owe....I called them back before and got into a shouting match with the Michael Peterson (so funny!!! they have American names--but clearly are NOT Americans) so I asked them to send me documentation in writing as to who they say I owe and prove it to me...in which they never have...so if they have all my info then they should be able to send me this documentation, right?  They call for awhile wait a couple of months and call again.  They call my work and my cell....I dont know how to stop them....Please dont send them any money if they contact you....These people are definitely a SCAM!!!!

this company is calling the company I work for and desrupting the workers.  we have been given orders not to forward the calls.

Roberta, I just received a call exactly like the one you are talking about. It sounds like a load of BS and I asked for something in writing and he got more upset. I even told him never to call me at work again and he wouldn't shut his mouth. I asked for verification of the debt and he says he doesn't have it and I said to him, "If you have no proof, how can I believe what you're telling me is valid". he got pissed and then started telling me I will be getting a visit from the police and they will arrest me. If it keeps hapening I am going to call the Secretary of Treasury or the Attorney General...Good Luck

I received a call at my work saying I needed to return this call asap.

I got the same call from a "Mike Peterson" who speaks broken English.....saying I owe money and they are sending the police.  Yes, they had my SSN as well....scary!  I called back and threatened them, they were defiant!  Yelling at me, interrupting me etc.  I have notified the authorities here locally.  They said until they actually commit a crime nothing can be done, but they were sure it was a scam.  They never identified the company, but it was the same MP from these other people who are getting calls.

It started early this year when I started getting phone calls from a man named Steve Brown. He accused me of committing internet fraud which amounted to a total of $900.00. He said if I would pay him $3000.00 he could take care of the law suit for me (which I knew was a bunch of bull cause I don't do anything but surf on line). He told me that he was from the F.B.I. and I had better do what he said or he would send an assassin to my front door. He also called my place of employment and cussed out a co-worker because she would not give him any information on me or let him talk to me.

He knew the names of my mother, sister, and daughter, my social security number, and where I worked. That really upset me because I am a young widow, and live alone with my teen age daughter.

The calls stopped after awhile and have just recently started up again. He has called me twice today and it's always the same thing....I must call him back the very second I get his message or have my attorney call at once because this is extremely time sensitive. Don't disregard this message if you don't have your attorney call me back or you call me back the only thing I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfold on you. Good bye and good luck.

Been getting threatening voice mails from "Mike Peterson" all week about owing money, arrest, legal action, court, tattling to my employer, etc.  Called back today and asked for ?Mike? but got to speak with ?Ryan Scott? ? both men sound the same ? heavy, heavy Indian accent, and asked for details, who, what, when, where, etc. and they read me my SSN which bothers me greatly, then proceeded with a long winded legal affidavit  that had absolutely no details except the name Cash Partners of America relating to a pay day loan and an outstanding amount of $5484 (which is the same amount in another person?s post) on a bank account I closed 3 years ago.  They have my personal email but when I asked them to send me a copy of the affidavit and charges against me they said they would not and I could look to be arrested on Monday.  

Please, please, please, do not give these people any money.  I used to get calls about three years ago from a ?Steve Brown?, (also mentioned in another recent post) same MO, and it sounds like the exact same script and heavy accent.  I think what it boils down to is someone sold my information from an on-line pay day loan application and this group is preying on people and using fear tactics (words like fraud, thief, jail, judgment, etc.) to frighten them into making payments which amounts to stealing.  

It is frightening but once you think about what they?ve said, it?s actually funny.  Our justice system doesn?t work the way they depict it, most payday loans cannot exceed $500 so how in the world would a $5000+ amount be due, a 1000%+ markup ? not possible even if someone levied every possible fine against you.  Be careful of these thieves and liars!

This is an scam ring that has been going on for quite some time. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT pay any money to these people. They are not real attorneys and have obtained your information from most likely a payday loan service website.

I have received several voice mail messages from this guy.  I can barely understand a thing he says and finally managed to understand the phone number.  He has been calling me at work as well and leaving nasty messages.  Very threatening in tone even though I can't understand him. I don't understand why I haven't received anything written, a letter via regular mail, concerning this "matter", only those nasty phone calls that I can't understand.

Male, Idian accent, by the name of Charles Fisher, representing a "law firm office" for a cash advance firm called American ... Will tell all of your personal info, your SS, drivers lience, address, even bank name and will tell you that you own them money and that if you dont pay they'll call the cops on you and arrest you. The threat me and they called me in my work.

A man called Charles Fisher called me and threats me saying that will send the cops and their investigators to my house and workplace. They call me in my job. He verified all my information, SS, Drivers Lic #, home address, even my Banks name.

They been c alling me now for a few months, leaving messages on my machine. How Do I Get Them To Stop?

Threats, threats and more threats.  Bring it on people.  Take me to court, call the police.  I dare you!  Mr. Brown just hung up when I told him to take me to court and call the police.  Bunch of criminals is all they are.

Got a call from this number this A.M. From a person calling herself Anglea Morgan. She was looking for the person who had my phone number before me. Nothing I could say to her made her stop screaming at me that I HAD TO GET THIS PERSON ON THE PHONE. She claimed to be from a law office but wouldn't say which lawyer. I took her return phone number so I can turn it over to the California Dept of Justice

I received a call from 718-841-6472 saying I owed money which I don't.They had all my personal information. Said they were sending papers tomorrow and i should contact a lawyer.

My husband received at least 3 messages yesterday from a woman stating that if we didn't contact her back or have our attorney contact them - - "good luck to us".  They were looking for someone totally different - - my husband's name didn't even come close to the person they were looking for.  I called them back and told them to not contact us again.  If they call back again, I will be contacting an attorney and that will not be hard since I work for one.

A man called about owing money to Cash Partners of America. His name was Kevin. Then his manager got on the phone his name was Steve Brown that if I didn't pay $5484.00 by tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. they were sending the police out to my house. So I told them I will be glad to talk to the police about their fraudelent calls. After that he said we will see you in court. And that I better have my attorney with me. I said oh he will be there he would be glad to meet you.
