I received a miss call but they did not leave a message. I don't answer numbers I don't answer.

I missed a call from this number, but they left no message.  When I called back, I got the message "this number is no longer in service.  This is a recording".  Sounds like a scam number!!

I get calls all hours of the day from this #. I'm getting really pissed off, you'd think that after you reject their call 15 times in a row that they would get the hint!

This guy called me, I thought it might have been my drunk friend. He rambled/mumbled like a retarded baby, like "Oooouuwaaaooeewawatiii". I had no idea what to say, so I say "Hello?", he could say "hello" back almost intelligibly, then back to "Oooouuwaaaooeewawatiii". I turned off my phone and hope he doesnt call back.

I got a call from the same number twice, but I didn't pick up, nor did they leave any messages. Sounds like a scam going around.

Just got a phone call from this number 718-924-4926, answered and told them have the wrong number..  I only know one person in NY and it wasnt them.  I also just tried to call the number back and got the nextel customer you are tring to reach is not in service at this time.  Sounds like some type of scam using a fake caller id!

They called me and asked for me by my name.  Said they would tell me more about THEM if I gave them some of MY information first, I hung up on them.  They called back & I hung up again.

This number just called me as well and hung up on the machine.  Did as stated above, called back, and the number was no longer available "at this time".  Growing tired of all this.

I googled the area code and it is coming from the following area(s):

I just received a phone call with no message left either.  When I called it back I got the same "The Nextel Customer you are trying to reach is not in service" message.  Which I find odd since they just called.

When I did a reverse phone lookup, it states that it is coming from The Bronx.

Not sure if that is of help to anyone else having this issue.

Just got a call, they hung up on the machine.  They must have called before because when I put the number into Google it came up in my history so I have Googled it before.

I just received a call from this number asking for someone who no longer works here.... After I said he's no longer employed here, the woman asked if I knew him, and I said yes and she hung up.....very odd.

I called the number back and received the message: "We're sorry the Nextel number you are trying to reach is not in service at this time".  If it is not in service how is someone able to call from it.  If this is truly a Nextel number then it has to be someone working at Nextel that is making the calls.
