I received 2 calls from an Officer Alex Williams. First call - I can't say any more about the case against you but call me back. 2nd call- Please call me back. You need to call back as soon as you get this message. It is very important. If you ignore this call good luck.

I just got another call from these idiots this morning. I played stupid. I asked him why it was so loud in his background. He kept trying to adjust the phone so that I wouldn't hear the background. He keeps calling from my job. So I'm assuming that they keep calling my job and they transfer him to my home phone number. This is the second time. I got all his information. He said his name was Officer Jeff Austin. He gave me some type of fake account number CFI150781. He gave me the number 845-765-9492. So he tried to confirm my ssn and my address and I told them that they had the incorrect information then he got aggravated and hung up. If this was true why would they hang up? Another scam I'm reporting it to my GA government again and contacting my job. I'm going to get these suckers and get money from them or something. I gotta have some kind of rights. This harassment is really starting to tick me off.

yeah these do***e bags called me saying they were from the department of law and investigations, first of all if that was legit, they wouldnt have some fresh off the boat hindu or arab calling for official business matters and second, when i asked them to speak to the supervisor i could hear them speaking hindi in the background.  dont let these idiots bully you, they're spineless hindus and arabs who cannot conform to a normal job and therefore terrorize the civilian and military population by making empty threats by trying to say they work for the government.  give them a big old screw off assmunch from me as well next time if you get this call

I've received numerous calls fromt these thieves. The last call I received was about 3 wks ago. They wanted me 2 pay them 350$ to pay a "loan" I supposedly got in 09 on the internet. I requested they send me something in writing including the contract that I signed for this loan along with fax confirmation bcuz I've done my research & u need 2 print the contract & fax it back. They said they would never have & this is the 2nd time I requested the docs. Also this last time they called I was told I have a court date blah blah blah & I was going 2 be served. Never happend. I told them this last time that I was going to counter sue them for harrasment & other things. They've stopped calling. If I defaulted on any loan why didn't the company try 2 contact me first & then send me 2 collections. Isn't that the way it usually happens??....

I got a call  from Officer Austin...He hardly sounds like an American....He left two voicemails......on ma no..nd said me to Call me bck on call bck no.something like 6997......Bcoz he ws nt sounding like an attorney....Scamm...A** hole......

Got several calls from this number in the past few days,left messages saying he was from the law investigation team and it is very urgent we get back to them,but that he could not disscuss the matter,but if we payed him over the phone,he maybe able to help us out and call off the warrent.But still would not discuss the matter, he even called my work number too (dont know how they knew where i worked) But this is all a scam,becouse a real debt collector would tell you why and who they are collecting from,and not keep saying they cant discuss the matter.please dont fall for it.

i got 2 calls today from this number saying we cant discuss anything and for me to call that number.they claimed they are law and investigations.these people are a scam because any reputable bill collector would not call you on the phone numerous times without mailing you legal written verification in writing of how much you owe them and if you really owe them anything at all.dont agree to pay these people anything or attempt to work out any payment agreements with these people until you receive legal written verification in writing from them how much you owe them and in writing if you really do owe them.dont give in to threats and intimidation either.i dont negotiate over the phone without receiving written verification first and urge all of you to do the same.

I got 8 calls from this (1009) number back to back today within a 7 minute period. Thinking something might be wrong I answered the 6th call and was told that they are the "Department of Law & Investigation" and it was impertinent that they talk to me about a pending case. They left two voicemails saying to call 719-434-6997. They also called me from 513-275-1387 and left a voicemail with the 6997 number to call back.

just got a call from this number on my phone for my fiancee a guy with a thick accent called claimed he was an investigator of criminal activities.
i found this web site and confirmed it was a scam dont be fooled call and report to colorado springs CO police dept.

Got a call today at work, wasnt there, but a coworker called and gave me a message from this number.  A guy named officer Austin said he was from the Department of Fraud, among other things, and that the matter he was calling about was urgent and that it was important that I call back right away.  I've gotten calls from this number before, they are trying to collect money from on line pay day loans.  If you live in the state of Virginia, which I do, pay day loans are ILLEGAL, and technically these people cant collect any funds that a person may have defaulted on.  If you are a person in this situation, just let them know that and that if they keep harrassing you, you will get an attorney.  That stopped them from calling me for awhile, but I guess they're at it again!  I'm ignoring them, hope you do the same!

Threats, talked to my supervisor, calling state government office. Will not say what the call is about only threats of lawsuit. He also said that I will loose my job. Threaten my supervisor, on a state office and said he was going to call 200 times a day.

Officer Charles Brown just called me saying this is an urgent message and thet he can not discuss the matter any further with me... Is this for real?
