I just got a text from this number. They want to know if I'm interested in an Admin position. My resume is also online.  This time they gave me a callback number that i checked and it's apparently a fax machine at some aviation company in MS.  HELLOOOOO....i live in Hawaii!  Unbelievable.

I just received a text from 720-215-2531 that asked me to call about a "position" that I applied for (so they say).  I called back 877-805-9461 and they were trying to collect information from me.  So, I would strongly suggest that anyone that receives a text from these guys should ignore them all together.

These guys are scammers!

I too got a text from that number saying "Hi Ana, I just reviewed your resume. If you're still looking for work in the Health Care field, please call me at 877-805-9461.

I dont think the a trust worthy company would send a text to call them back if you are still looking for any type of job!!  I think its a scam to call and get charged all kinds of fees when you call that number.

Got the same text as Michele above. Google search of the 888 number does indeed show some carpet company in Tennessee, which is 1000 miles away from me, obviously fishy.

I received a text from this number and they wanted to know if I was still interested in an Accounting position yet, as I had submitted a resume on Monster.com.  The text said that if I was still interested, I should call the number 888-258-9946, which by a Google search looks like a company called Richs Carpet Care in Cordova, TN -- strange, I won't be calling it.

I also received a text that said:

"Hi Michelle, I just reviewed your resume.  If you're still looking for work in the Administrative field, please call me at 888-258-9946."

First red flag-they spelled my name wrong...with 2 L's instead of one.  Second red flag-no reputable company would send a text about a job opening, especially without providing a contact name or company name.

Employment scams (where there is *NO* job) include but are not limited to:
1. Victims pay $$$ up front for required crap like uniforms, certification, background check, 1/2 airline ticket, etc.
2. You don't quite qualify for the job but are counseled to go back to school (scammer gets paid on college referral).
3. You are offered an interview and find out later it's a no-salary, commission-only, you-pay-expenses, perhaps-MLM sales job with poor leads.
4. You give your personal info because you believe you are applying for a real job which can lead to ID theft.
5. Your job as financial agent is to receive checks, cash them at your own bank, and Western Union cash away (checks will bounce).
REMEMBER -- THERE IS *NO* JOB.
