Total scam... hang up on them and report them to fcc.gov

i recently a call from this number claiming they could help set up a home business. the operative words are set up.  Not only was the operator uninformed and rude, he became rather belligerent when i refused to answer some of his questions as i felt that he had crossed the lines of privacy.  be careful, sounds very fishy to me.  its a SCAM

they wanted credit card info  and to offer me a work from home scheme. i told them that they weren't getting any info from me, and they hung up. what's the point? do people really fall for that?

This company has been calling me all day, so I fnally decided to answer it. I politely listened to the first lady and then I listened to supposed good job offer, after that a man came on the phone, and when I told him, it seems fishy to me, and soes not make sense, he kept trying to act like it is a legit business. When I politely told him I was not interested, he got very rude with me and called me a name. i told him if this was a legit business they would not handle things in that manner, and I hung up. He called back several times, and was even ruder than before. My son finally took over the call, because the man was upsetting me badly, and now my blood pressure shot up and I feel sick. What ever scam this is, it is horrible to treat people they do not even know in such a bad manner. If I get more calls, I will be calling the police and claiming harrassment, I will block the number and I will get in contact with the BBB. Another number along with this one is 480-658-2742. These people are evil and I hope their behaviors come back at them 10 fold.

I got the very same call and they were rude. They said that they were from Precious Metals Company and clarified that they had nothing to do with metals they were an online business looking to help me make 1,00-5,000 dollars a month. They claimed that I contacted them and I told them I didn't and that I wasn't interested and then they hung up on me. They still keep calling me.

Got a call today from this # I rejected it, I don't know who they are.

I have received calls from this number. I do not answer as I have no idea who they are.

Time is money .... play along with them and keep them on the phone for as long as possible then hang up. They will stop calling once they realize it's costing them time. If they won't stop calling when requested, then tie them up and play with them.

I got a call from these people I didn't answer it; yesterday I updated www.
donotcall.gov hoping it will help.  It seems I am getting several annoying telemarketing calls lately.

2-4 calls a day trying to sell a home based business...STOP!!!!

Other numbers from this same telemarketing company are 623-295-2284 and 857-366-4867. They are trying to sell you a home-based business.

I asked them to take me off their list and they said they would for $495.00. I told them that I was going to file a police report for harrassment and they said go right ahead, we will still call you, police in your state cant touch us!

Got my first call from this company this morning.  However, I have been getting other calls from some company in Tennessee.  They say I owe Bank of America $65,000.  B/S!  I have never done business with B of A.  I have turned this number in several times but they just keep changing the telephone number.

Caller 1-720-230-1888 - my Cel is thru Verizon they do charge to block numbers on the plan I have.  I have reported this company to the BBB and Attorney General for my State of Idaho.   What you can do as a stop gap is add the phone number to your contacts and name it "SPAM do not answer."  That why when it rings you will know not to answser it.   REPORT THEM - REPORT THEM - REPORT THEM!!!!  No matter how many times you ask them to stop calling they will not do so.  No matter how often you tell them you are on the no call list they will not stop calling.  REPORT THEM!!!

I have submitted a complaint to the FCC after each call.  Got my 5th one today.  This is the 1st time they hung up on me before I could ask them to place me on their do not call list.  www.fcc.gov

Does not get the hint. Just keeps calling about work at home did not even fill out app. Just read about it and they call every few minutes.

You can block it on the cell phone. You don't have to go through  your provider.

They just called me 2 times in a row and it is way after 9 pm. I did not answer it.

Have repeatedly asked to have my number removed off their call list.  Have flat out stated to stop calling

I have been getting calls from they for about a month. But when they call, they ask for someone not associated with my phone. I have told them that there was no person by that name on my number. They were polite and wished me a good day. But the calls kept coming. I got frustrated. Told them to stop calling. They didn't. So today, I told them I was reporting them to the FCC for harassment. The caller got really quiet and hung up quickly.

Unfortunately with most cell phone providers, they charge a fee to "block" numbers.
