I received this text today, told me it was "Mr johnny" and asked if i was interested in being his personal assistant. i googled the area code and its from Colorado, i live in Canada....i received 3 of these texts within hours of posting my resume online.

Text message said Hello, how are your doing? This is mr Eddied. are you stilling looking for a job> Do get back to me ASAP. I responded with yes sir I am what does the job require? He responded. AM in need of office payroll assistance and mailing payment out to most of our clients and agent and fet $1,200.00 monthly, so get back to me if you are interested. I responded with I received the same email last week. He responded with well idk about that are you interested? i responded with yes. He responded with okay good do you have printer, scanner and full access to interest. I said yes. He then stated Okay go do that now (this is at 9:30 at night). I researched it and it said on about.com list of fake job sam examples, took a picture of the screen and sent it to the number. If you can the number it is google voice! So I believe it is a scam.

I posted an ad looking for a receptionist job and received messages from the number. First I received: Hello I'm Mrs Sara Taylor,how are you doing? i got your ads on craigslist, i just want to know if you are still looking for a job, do get back to me asap.
And then: Hello, we will be needing your service for posting ads on craiglist which will earn you $400 weekly..so if you are interested get back to me this is real and legitimate, here is our company name TrendSource Inc let me know if you are interested or not
